Chapter 20 (Beach)

Y/n awoke to the gentle rays of sunlight peeking through her curtains, a sense of excitement bubbling within her at the thought of spending the day with Jungkook. With a contented sigh, she stretched her limbs and went through her morning routine, anticipation building with each passing moment.

Entering the kitchen, Y/n found Jungkook already there, a warm smile lighting up his face as he greeted her. She returned the smile and leaned in to give him a tender kiss on the cheek, feeling a rush of affection for him.

"Good morning, love," she murmured, her voice filled with tenderness.

"Good morning, Y/n," Jungkook replied, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "I have a surprise for you."

Y/n's heart skipped a beat at his words, curiosity piqued. "What is it?" she asked eagerly.

Jungkook's smile widened as he revealed his plans. "I thought we could spend the day at the beach. It's such a beautiful day outside, and I thought it would be the perfect way to celebrate."

Y/n's eyes lit up with joy at the suggestion, grateful for Jungkook's thoughtfulness. "That sounds amazing," she exclaimed, excitement coursing through her veins.

Their happiness was short-lived, however, as Min-Seo entered the kitchen, her presence casting a shadow over their plans. Y/n's heart sank as Min-Seo expressed her desire to join them, the air thick with tension.

Despite their inner reluctance, Y/n and Jungkook exchanged resigned glances, unable to find a polite way to decline Min-Seo's company. With a heavy sigh, they reluctantly agreed, their disappointment palpable as they made their way to the beach.

Arriving at the sun-drenched shore, Y/n couldn't help but feel a pang of insecurity as Min-Seo flaunted her toned body in a revealing bikini. She couldn't shake the feeling of inadequacy, her own self-doubt bubbling to the surface.

Sensing her discomfort, Jungkook pulled her close, pressing a reassuring kiss to her lips. "You look absolutely stunning," he whispered, his words melting away her insecurities.

Grateful for his support, Y/n felt a surge of confidence wash over her, her worries dissipating as they spent the day frolicking in the waves and soaking up the sun. They laughed and played, enjoying each other's company despite Min-Seo's presence.
