Chapter 14

Kalin's P.O.V

So this USA dance team is like a camp. It's located up state, in the woods I'd say.

But anyway, me, Myles, Tiara, Monique, Taysha and Kevin are headed to Waterworld California. It's not far, but since I'm driving, it feels far.

"Ugh, why do I have to drive?"I whined

"Because...you're Kalin White, deal with it"Tiara says

I roll my eyes.

"It's not fair"I groan, sitting back in my seat

"Oh hush you big baby"she said, slapping me upside the head. "It's too early in the morning to be acting like this"

I stuck my tongue out at her.

The first thing I did when I got there was go to the basketball challenge.

"I can do this all day"I say, shooting the ball into the net, like I did the last 40 times

"You look like you can"Tiara said, biting her hotdog

I shot the last ball inside.

"Wow that was awesome"the guy said, smiling. "Pick your prize sir"

I turned to Tiara, signalling her to come over to me.

She stood up and walked over to where I stood.

"Pick your prize"I say

She smiles and chooses the fluffy panda. He handed it to her. I thanked him, as well as Tiara, and grabbed her hand.

We walked to the Ferris wheel.

"Kalin..."she said gripping onto my forearm

"Don't worry, it's not gonna hurt you"I say

"It's so far up though"she said, gulping

I shrugged. I turned to Myles.

"What did you win so far?"I ask

"A Warriors basketball"he responded

"I'll trade you for it"I say

"For what?"he says

"I'll give you my Snoopy puppy"I say

"Deal"he says, handing me the basketball

I smile and hand him the Snoopy.
"Time to get on this Ferris wheel though"I say

I chuckled at how Tiara had her face buried in my chest the whole Ferris wheel ride.

"I'm surprised she hasn't panicked yet"Monique says

I put a finger to my mouth, signalling her to shut up.

"Don't give her any ideas"Taysha says

Monique laughs.

"Okay, I guess"she says

I chuckle and rub Tiara's arm.

My poor baby.

So we were in the park from 11:15 to 5:30. The park opens at 10:30 and closes at 6:00.

We have really good timing.

This time, Myles decided to drive back. Monique sat in the passenger seat while Taysha sat behind her. Kevin sat behind Myles, in the second row next to Taysha.

Me and Tiara were in the last row.

Just me and my girl.

She was laying back on the seat, with her head on my lap. She was occupied with her phone, not knowing that I was watching.
