Chapter 36

Tiara's P.O.V

I just couldn't get those emerald green eyes out of my mind. He's been on my mind for the past 2 days.

I laid in my bed, thinking about what he's possibly doing right now.

Probably fucking that slut.

My phone vibrated, indicating a text. I sigh, grabbing my phone.

Unknown 🤔: Stay away from Kalin. He's mine, he doesn't want you.

Me 😁: Who is this?

Unknown 🤔: Don't worry about it, just stay away from my man.

Me 😁: You don't tell me what I can and cannot do with my boyfriend! 😡

Unknown 🤔: If I gave a fuck, I wouldn't be telling you this. So I'm gonna say this one more time. STAY AWAY FROM KALIN!

After that I didn't respond. I was beyond pissed. I turned off my phone and made my way downstairs. My mom was in the kitchen, working on some papers.

"Hey mama"I say

She looked up from her work, smiling.

"Hey baby girl, what's up?"she said

I sigh, looking down.

"Oh no. What happened?"she said, sitting back in her seat

I unlock my phone and hand it to her, with the messages shown.

Now I don't usually give my mother my phone, but I had to. Since she's a lawyer, I figured why not.

She concentrated hard on the messages. She then looked up at me with a curious facial expression.

"Who sent this?"she said

"I don't know"I say, my voice on the edge of cracking

I don't know what she was doing, but she connected my phone to her laptop. She started typing quickly.

After a good 10 minutes, she started speaking again.

"Brittany Wilcox"she said

My heart dropped at the sound of her name.

"Do you know her?"she asked

"Yes"I say, swallowing thickly

"What's she doing texting you?"she asked, looking back at her laptop

"Isn't it clear in the messages? She wants to break up me and Kalin"I say, feeling my eyes fill with tears

I could see the sympathy in my mothers eyes as I broke down in front of her.

"I don't know what to do. I left because I felt I needed space. I come here...and I can't get a break"I choke out through tears
