Chapter 2

Tiara's P.O.V

When I entered the office, I saw Dayshawn sitting in the chair across from Mr. Woods desk. I glared at Dayshawn and sat on the seat next to him.

"What did he do now?"I say, sighing in frustration

"Mr. Rivers here was caught vandalizing school property. He was in the boys bathroom spray painting inappropriate language on the walls and stuff"he explains

Dayshawn's last name is Rivers because that's my mom's last name. I have my dad's last name...in which I don't get. But whatever.

I glance over at Dayshawn.

"Can't you just be normal for once? Why do you have to be so damn disobediant? Why can't you just be a regular person for a change? Why do you think you're in high school still? Why can't you just do right? What's good with you?"I say

He stares at me shocked.

"Tiara, do you think Ms. Rivers will be able to come in and have a discussion?"Mr. Woods asked

"I'm sure she would because I'm tired of acting like I'm his damn mother. He knows what he has to do, he just chooses not to"I say

"Okay, I will schedule an appointment for your mom to come in"he says

"Good because I'm tired of this bullshit"I say

I stood up and stormed out of the office.

On my way out, I didn't see the boy there anymore.

I stood at my locker talking to Monique and Taysha, waiting for last period to start.

"So there is this new boy in my class and he is fiiiiine"Monique says

I roll my eyes.

"Okay"I say

"Girl if anything, you and him would look cute together"Taysha says

"Now you know I won't do that to Jamary, I love him too much"I say

"You don't even have the password to his phone...come on now"Monique says

"So what?"I say, beginning to become curious as to why he never trusted me with his phone

"He cheating on you T"Taysha says

"Yeah whatever"I say

"Just take one look at the new boy and I promise you, you are gonna fall in love"Monique says

Bell rings

"I'll think about it"I say, walking to my class

I walked into my last period class. I sat in my seat, in the back, and got ready to begin the class. That's when I saw the boy come inside.

"Is this room 120 with Mr. Benett?"he asked, the teacher of course

"Yes sir. Your name please?"Mr. Benett replied

"Kalin...Kalin White"the boy, who goes by the name Kalin, replies

"Yes I have you on the roster"Mr. Benett says

He puts the paper on his desk.

"You can have a seat at that empty desk right next to Tiara in the back"Mr. Benett said

Kalin makes his way to the back where I am. He sits at the empty desk next to me.

"Hello I'm Kalin"he says
