Chapter 34

Tiara's P.O.V

I heard a couple of voices enter Chic-Fil-A. Those voices sounded quite familiar.

"Hello, what would you like to order?"the lady, who goes by Kendall, asked

"Um...can I have the Chicken Deluxe Sandwich, extra Mayo. Waffle Potato Fries, a Large Coke and a Greek Yogurt Parfait?"I say

She nods, typing it in.

"Is that all?"she asked

"Yes"I say

"Okay. Your total is $22.37"she said

I nod, taking my card out. She swiped it. She handed it back to me, waiting for my receipt. She handed me my receipt.

"You're order 227"she said

I nod, moving over to the side to let the next person order. I stood there, waiting for my food. Until then, I occupied myself with my phone.

I groaned while scrolling through my multiple notifications. I ignored the multiple texts from Kalin and anyone else.

I recieved my food minutes later, making my way to an empty booth. I unraveled my food and began to dig in.

My skinny ass can eat like a damn cow. It's really ironic.

As I was in the middle of scrolling through my phone and sipping my drink, because I finished my meal, I felt a presence around me. One next to me and two across from me.

Oh no, I'm trapped. I'm gonna get raped. Help me!

I looked up to see Myles and Taysha. I looked next to me and saw Kalin.

"Hi"he said

"Hey"I mumble, going back to whatever I was doing on my phone

"So what's up? Why'd you leave the camp?"Kalin asked

"Just for a few days"I say

Forever maybe...

"Really?"Taysha asked

"Yeah"I say, shifting uncomfortably

"What happened Tiara? Talk to us. We're your friends"Myles said

"It's nothing...I just need to get home now"I say, trying to leave the booth

"Not until you tell us what's wrong"Kalin says, moving me so he could see my face

"I said it was nothing"I say

"Tiara"they all say

"Okay then...someone at this table did something wrong"I say

"Oh my god, was it me?! I'm sorry Tiara...for whatever I did??"she said, confused toward the end

I chuckled at her confusion.

"Not you or Myles. Sadly, I'm in a relationship with him"I say, looking down at my empty cup

"What did I do Tiara?"Kalin asked

I didn't answer him.

"Baby, please tell me what's wrong?"he begged, staring at me

I cringed when he called me that. There was a long silence. Too long for my liking.

Myles and Taysha were staring at Kalin, I could see from my peripheral vision. And Kalin was staring at me, as I said from before.

"Fine then...don't tell me"he said, getting up and leaving

We watched him get in the black car they came in. I turned to Myles and Taysha. I moved into them a bit more.

"Watch him very closely...then you'll know what's wrong with me"I say
