Rocky's Point of View told in first person

After a few minutes of walking, I finally arrived home. I entered the house and was greeted by the sweet aroma of warmly baked cookies. I think my mom got home from work earlier than usual.

"MOM! I'm home!" I yelled out.

"Oh, hey sweetie! How come your back so early?" My mom had stated, suspicious of me.

Which unfortunately meant I had to tell her how I got suspended, and how I had gotten FRAMED for nothing!

"Well, uh something happened" I responded

"What?! Oh Rocky, don't tell me you got yourself in a fight!" My mom practically yelled out. With a look of disappointed on her face.

"Wait, calm down! Let me explain first."

My mom replied back, with a blank stare, basically asking for me to"continue".

"Okay, so, I got suspended. But I think it's because I got framed. You see... the principal, and the secretary called me to the office, and showed me a tape of a person that had a figure like mine and this person was littering and "breaking all sorts of school laws." I said, quoting the principal.

"Hmm, and when was this "figure" breaking all these rules?

"I think on April 29th?"

"Well, that means that can't be you, because on April 29th you stayed at home doing homework, because you didn't do it all weekend!" Mom stated absolutely furious at the thought of me procrastinating.

"Yeah, exactly!" I said in response.

"Did they get a glance of the person's face, or anything to prove it?" My mother asked.

I shook my head, despair filling my eyes.

"Well, as long as you know you didn't do it it's fine. But why are these people we so quick to assume?" My mom said in a worrisome voice.

We just stood there for an awkward minute.

So, in attempt to change the topic, I asked my mom why she was early from work, and why she made cookies.

My mom looked as though she had forgot something, she wanted to tell me, and brightened up at the mention of the question.

"Well Rocky, I wanted to surprise you about something."

I glanced at my mother asking "What did you want to surprise me about?"

She cheerily answered "We're moving!"

After hearing this, my mouth practically dropped to the floor. My head filled with tons of questions. But one that carved into my brain was "why"?

But that question already gotten answered when my mom said "I got a new job!" She practically jumped when she said that.

After realizing that I would move to a new school, AND move from this crappy neighborhood the sides of my mouth went up forming a smile.

"YESS! But where are we moving to mom?"

"We're moving to Adventure City!"

"I've heard of that place, I think it's similar to the famous city New Yorkshire?"

"Yeah, pretty much!"

"Cool, I'm just glad we're moving!" I laughed.

"Mhm, so you better start packing, we are moving in a few days."

"Well.. I guess that it's pretty good that I got suspended isn't it mom?" I joked.

"Rocky!" My mom laughed while giving me a playful shove.

Hey everyone!

Well, that was one way to end a chapter, wasn't it? Anyways, sorry for not uploading as often. I'm just SO busy doing schoolwork, but I finally got the time. Additionally, I just wanted to say, that I'm sorry that there haven't been many Rocvest moments, but we're getting to the juicy part, so stay tuned as I update  Please excuse me, while I cry because of how SHORT this chapter is. Just a side note, I will probably NOT have a consistent updating schedule so, sorry for that. Anyways, reviews and criticism are REALLY appreciated, as I really need to work on my writing skills, so that I am able to make my story more up to your standards.

Until new time.

Peace!
