Rocky's Point of View told in the first person

The days flew by in a blur of packing and preparation. Before I knew it, moving day had arrived. The morning was filled with a mixture of excitement and a bit of nervousness. My mom and I loaded up the car with the last of our boxes, and after a quick breakfast, we were on our way to Adventure City.

The drive was long, but the anticipation of a new start kept my spirits high. Adventure City was everything I had hoped for. The skyline was dotted with towering buildings, and the streets were bustling with people and energy. It felt like a place where anything could happen.

As we pulled up to our new apartment building, I couldn't help but smile. This was it – a fresh start. We unpacked our things and started to settle in. Our new home was cozy and had a great view of the city. I spent the afternoon arranging my room, making sure to put the picture of my family on my desk where I could see it every day. Also, if you're wondering, I decided NOT to scatter my room with  the pieces of objects. I did not want to clean it again.

Next Day

The next morning was the first day at my new school, Adventure City High. I woke up with a mix of excitement and nerves, but I was determined to make a good impression. I quickly got ready,  grabbed my backpack, and headed out the door. But I had forgotten one thing. I didn't eat breakfast! Well... I guess I will be starving until lunch.

"Mom, I'm leaving for school, bye!" I announced.

"Alright sweetie, good luck on the first day of school!" My Mom replied.

Just like that, I turned on Google Maps on my phone and head for school.

The school was only a short walk away, and I took my time, soaking in the sights and sounds of my new neighborhood. While also listening to the voice of the GPS. I don't know about you, but I would NEVER want to be lost in a neighborhood I barely know.

As I approached the school, I could see groups of students chatting and laughing. I took a deep breath and walked through the gates, hoping this school would be different from the last.

Author's Note

Hey everyone!

Well, I know, I know, this chapter is very short. BUT worry no more because summer break is near, which allows me to have MORE time for this book. Btw, testing is finished for the year if you're wondering, and I did pretty well on them THANKFULLY. I think I went on autopilot and had been stressing SO MUCH about these. Anyways, can't wait to start school again... Anyways, see you hopefully in future chapters!!
