Since Y/N told Lena his name she had been calling more and more frequently as well as talking to Shin. When Y/N talked to Lena they just talked about things from the past and a few things going on currently. When Lena asked Y/N if she could tell Annette about him being alive Y/N said no, as he didn't want the same thing he feared with Lena about her learning that he js alive just for him to die, Lena disagreed with this but accepted it as it was what he wanted.
Lena who was on her way to work like usual was waiting for the car signal to allow her to walk across the street when Annette walked up next to her wearing her military uniform which was a rare sight.

The two walked together to Annette's office where Annette handed Lena a cake with real and fresh strawberries and icing on top with vanilla breading.

Annette: Right! The cream is artificial but the strawberries are all real! By the way, any chance you want to go shopping for party dresses next week? For the Revolution Festival?
Lena: That time already huh? I'm probably going to have to go to that...aren't I?
Annette: No "probably" about it! And we better hustle! All the best dressmakers will get booked up if we don't get moving.
Lena: Sorry... I'm a bit swamped right now.
Annette: You know Lena? If feels like you haven't been around much lately.
Lena had been mostly spending her time talking to Shin, Y/N and the rest of Spearhead. Plus anytime she had remaining was spent writing up different battle strategies to fight off the Legion. It also didn't help that her being around Annette felt weird to her because she didn't want to accidentally mention Y/N being alive.
Lena: Oh! It might be fun to shop for a dress with a guy in your arm, I heard you met another prospective partner too!
Lena wanted to changed the subject to avoid accidentally mentioning anything to Annette.
