Aurora sat in the back of the limousine as the driver drove her towards the destination. A destination, which would change her life, which would change her perspective of seeing herself, which would change and maybe poison her soul, she thought.
The cab stopped right in front of a huge mansion. It was a huge mansion, with a fancy gate, secured entrance, well gardened courtyard, stylish exterior, and an outdoor pool. She felt gorgozined with the beautiful sight. Little did she knew that the place was hollow from inside. It was a huge luxurious house, but it wasn't a home, because there was no homemaker, and there was no family. "Damon Neilson" read the huge decorative nameplate, which was fitted right next to the gate.
"Let her come in", a man with a well built physique instructed. The guard opened the gate to the grand mansion, and let Aurora walk in. She looked up to the man who was standing in the balcony with a glass of whiskey in his hand. He looked...handsome? She thought, but shrugged and walked in.
When she looked up at him, they had an eye contact, which lasted just for a fraction of a second, but she could hear his eyes screamed agony. They were bloodshot. And hence she looked away. There was a kind of gloom in them. She did not yet see him closely, but she saw that. It scared her. "He looks doomed" she thought to herself. "But why the hell am I thinking that just yet? I don't even know him" she thought again, sighed and walked inside.
A worker, who seemed to be a middle aged lady opened the door for her, and asked her to have a seat.
"Let her come upto my room" the man instructed as he walked downstairs. The other servants had a shocked expression on their faces as soon as he said that.
"Your room? Are you sure?" One of the ladies asked him.
"I don't like questions Miss Annie. You are fired!" He declared nonchalantly. Annie was his personal chef, and she had been cooking there since almost a year, but he just fired her within a second for such a minor mistake. His behavior was so nonchalant that it sounded like firing someone from a job for a petty reason wasn't a big deal. Aurora looked at him in confusion, and a crippling fear. The lady did not dare to questioned him back, but just left the place silently. That man had an intimidating aura, a dominating one. People were afraid of him, she just saw an example, and so should she be, she thought and bit her lower lip.
"Follow me" he said and started walking up the stairs. She followed after him. They went upstairs, and there was a little hallway. The room was in a secluded corner of the home. Away from all the other rooms. She eyed the room, it was a huge one, neatly organised and he had a bar counter there. "Why would a person need such a huge bar counter in a bedroom?" She thought the herself.
"What is your name?" He asked her.
"My name...I...I am Rory" she was about to reveal her real name, but then stopped and said her sobriquet instead. Telling her own name didn't feel safe to her.
Her gaze drifted towards the shelf which was full of trophies, and medals, and books. There was a giant bed against a wall, and a recliner couch against the opposite wall.
"Is it your first time?" He asked, ogling at her.
"Y..Yes" she answered, blinking her eyes and nervously looking down at the floor, while her hands constantly fiddled with her the frill of her dress.
"Oh. Then you should go back home." He chuckled.
"Huh?" She frowned.
