An irrational fear of confined spaces.

Just one night together, just another one night stand out of so many that Damon had. He practically didn't even remember the count. He did not remember how many women did he sleep with. He didn't remember how they looked or even their names. He just needed to release. But one fine day, it just changed.
Every cold thing needs the right warmth to melt. He needed to melt into a puddle, even if he didn't want to, and he found that warmth in Aurora. He found solace, his long lost solace and peace in her arms. That night wasn't just fucking, that was solace, atleast for him. Because that was something he wanted again. Since the last 4 years, he has never wanted anything twice. He hated feeling what he felt, but he loved feeling something again, and he also hated that he loved it- if that made any sense to his rather logical brain.
He bought the company where she worked so he could make up excuses to be around her, and maybe get something else out of her. She was driving him insane, hence he tried to build up a wall around himself by not visiting that office again. However it never worked as he always ended up watching her through the CCTV camera. It had been two weeks since he physically saw her, but she ran on his mind and occupied his thoughts all this while. He couldn't concentrate on work, and hence he decided to go and visit the office.
"Good morning Sir" everyone greeted him, standing up from their places. Damon looked around for Aurora, but her desk was empty.
She walked in hastily, huffing slightly. "Sorry, I am late" she said, when her breathe toned down.
"Meet me in my cabin Aurora" he said and walked up without sparing anyone another glance.
"You're late, he's furious" Alyssa said as soon as they saw Damon retreat.
"No, I don't think he's that mad" Aurora blinked her eyes, left her bag on the desk and walked to his cabin.
"You're late by 20 minutes. I entertain only punctuality, and hence I am firing you" he said nonchalantly as soon as she excused herself and walked inside his cabin. She was bemused at his sudden decision.
"But sir, that was the first time ever I got late, and I can explain" she tried to bargain.
"Sure you can, I just don't think I wanna listen. You can send in your two weeks notice" he said
"I am sorry Sir. I'll leave" Aurora said walking out, accepting the fact that she was getting fired and would have to go around looking for another job to afford a living. Just as she was about to leave, he stopped her.
"Wait, i fired you because I have another job for you, i mean if you don't mind" he said. She stood froze at her place with her mind wandering to places where it shouldn't. What if he thought that I would get laid with him again as a job? Is it the job offer that he had for her? She thought to herself.
"Aurora, please take a seat and please listen" he offered and she obliged politely sitting down on the chair.
"So, my recent secretary, i mean the former one, she got married and moved abroad and I need a new secretary now. I see that quality in you, the choice is yours. And dont worry, I went about it that way. I am not firing you, I just have a better offer, one that'll pay you thrice the amount you make at this position" he, wondering if she was about to turn down the offer.. However, with the last line, the frown on her face quietened by a bit.
"Think over it, you can just reject the offer and continue with 9 to 5 job with the minimum salary, or you can take up the offer and get a weekend leave plus thrice as much as you earn now. But the final call is yours" he stated.
