"moonlight"
He smiled at the music stopping, as he bowed, "that was a lovely dance m'lady" he teased, as she squinted her eyes at him, "not bad from you either" she said, as he chuckled. "I shall take that as a compliment." He said, kissing the knuckles on her hand.
He backed away, smiling to meet other guests, as she stood there, a soft smile on her face, but she quickly cleared her throat dropping out of it. And making her way back to the throne.
The sound of the glass hitting the table with a thud echoed, as Minji, watched them part away, her mother then looked at her. "You're still the prettiest my darling, he is forced to be with her." She comforted her daughter.
She Minji's grip on the glass tightened. "She dared to dance with him." She said, as her mom rolled her eyes. "Get yourself together. He's alone now. try to seduce him into switching his bride to you my darling." She said, caressing her daughter's hair.
Minji smiled. "You're a genius mother" she said, as her mother chuckled. "That's why your grandfather chose your uncle, cause he knew I would lead a greater kingdom than him." She said, Minji smiled, standing up, confident her head high.
As she walked towards Jungkook fixing her hair. "your majesty" she bowed, her voice as soft as a feather, as he passed her a smile bowing to her. "I must say you dance so well." She complimented, as Jungkook nodded. "The way a dance is presented also depends on the partner Princess Han." He said.
"Y-you know who I am?" She asked, her voice quivering with excitement and nervousness, he knew who she was?!? "Of course, I think I'll have information about the family I'm marrying into." He said making her smile drop at the mention of marriage.
"Right." She said, getting closer to him, "so marriage, doesn't it feel a bit forced that you have to marry someone like my cousin?" She asked, as he smiled. "Only a fool would be forced to marry a woman like your cousin" he said.
As Minji looked down gritting her teeth, before looking away. "Excuse me your highness" he said, before bowing and making his way into the crowd.
Minji scoffed taking in Jungkook's words, before angrily walking back to her table.

I smiled at Princess Han before walking away, I got very uncomfortable around her very fast for some reason, was she trying to make me change my mind or..does she like me? That's impossible. I'm going to be betrothed to her sister soon.I walked out into the garden, loosening my collar a bit, when I caught a familiar figure on the swing, as I smiled to myself, taking in her Beauty, her eyes, her lips, the way she was sitting with her eyes closed.
The moonlight gives her skin a glow. I smirked walking up to her and pushing her on the swing, as her eyes shot open to look at me, as I pushed her gently.
"Aren't you enjoying the evening?" She asked, as she swung back and forth. "Well it's quite boring when you're not around, I don't get reactions as good as yours." I teased, as she rolled her eyes.
"Why? You seemed to be interested in the conversation with my sister, what was she talking about potions and spells?" She joked, as I chuckled, "I'm guessing you don't like her." I said, as she raised her eyebrows, "that's a strong statement I prefer to go with, 'not compatible' " she said, as I chuckled.
"Well maybe a statement that strong is a perfect addition to you basically calling your cousin a witch" i said as she rolled her eyes, "a good witch" she tried to defend herself, "you didn't say that." I teased, as she sighed.
I stopped the swing and sat beside her. "Ever since we were kids ive always tried to be nice to her, sharing my toys, giving her my dresses helping her in lessons, yet she always found a way to bring me down." She confessed, as I listened to her.
"So I finally confronted her and from there we hardly talk" I nodded at her statement, "maybe she feels left out." I said, making her nod. "Maybe i wish she would come and talk to me though, after all she is my sister by blood." She said, as I nodded.
She then looked up, as I looked at her then followed her gaze to the moon. "The moon is beautiful, isn't it?" I asked her, as she smiled. "Indeed it is. I could stare at it all day" she said, as I looked at her. "Me too." I said, her gaze lowered then meeting mine.
As she got up, "I know these tricks of yours" she said, as I chuckled. "Hahah how clever." I said, as she stuck her tongue out, my eyes widening at her behaviour, she grumbled before walking out as I caught with her.
"Your large steps are my mini steps darling." I teased, as she kept walking. "Wow weren't you jealous a few minutes ago?" I asked, as she looked at me in disbelief and then gasped.
"Me??? jealous???" She then scoffed making her way to the throne, I grabbed her wrist pulling her towards me, as our eyes caught each other again.
When suddenly the breaking of a glass caught our attention, our gaze moving to the centre of the ballroom, to see Princess Han, climbing and standing on a table, her figure wobbling as her mother tried to get her down.
"No...NO! MOTHER! Today~ I propose a toast~ to the APPARENTLY the prettiest woman and the most PERFECT! Girl in the kingdom, My Dear Cousin. Princess Kim Y/n." She said, raising her glasses.
A sickening feeling entered my stomach.
This was not going to go well.
