Chapter 19 Nightmares Part 2

Pisces's POV

I somehow arrived at the mansion and when I opened the door, no one was there. The zodiacs were missing.

"I swear, if this is a joke, I will focking kill you guys."

No one answered. I sighed and started to look for the zodiacs. I searched the closet, cupboards, rooms and the garage.

"Guys, I need your help. Ophiuchus captured a mermaid named Marina and she needs our help."

Nothing. Wait a minute....the zodiacs are missing, but Ophiuchus couldn't have taken them because I was with him unless.....that person wasn't Ophiuchus. Someone might have pretended to be Ophiuchus or Ophiuchus could have made a clone of himself. Why didn't I think of that before? I decided yo change into dry clothes because the clothes I was wearing were wet. I wore a black hoodie with blue jeans and ran towards the beach. I ran towards the direction Ophiuchus was going and found a large beach house. It looked deserted. I cautiously went in the house and I searched for Marina.

"Marina? Are you in here?"

"Mmm!"

I heard a muffled shout and ran towards the noise. It was coming from the basement. I ran towards the basement and found Marina in a cage. She was still tied up in seaweed rope and she had a piece of cloth in her mouth. I quickly took it out and Marina started to speak.

"Pisces, I don't know how long I can stay out of the water. It's getting harder to breathe. I need you to get me a bucket of water. I can't breathe in air for a long time."

"Okay, I'll be right back."

Luckily, I found a bucket and filled it with water. I took it to Marina and she dunked her head in the bucket.

"Th...an..ks...Pisce..s...thank goodness you found me!"

"Don't talk. Try to catch your breathe."

"O...ka..y."

After Marina catched her breathe, she told me everything.

"The person who captured me was a clone Ophiuchus made. He captured your friends and took them somewhere else."

"Somewhere else?"

"Yeah. He said something about revenge."

"He wants revenge on us. I wonder where he went...."

"I think he went to the village. He said something about food and water. He might have went to the village so he could get some food and water."

"How did you know there was a village here?"

"There's a map of the world and I saw that there was a village nearby."

"Hmm....why would Ophiuchus select this place in the first place? This house doesn't have drinkable water and food."

"He wants revenge. He wouldn't put us in a good, expensive house and torture us."

"True...."

"Anyways, we need to get out of here and find your friends. I would help you, but...well...I don't have legs."

"I understand. Let's get you out of that cage."

"Okay. Is there something we can use to break the lock?"

"Umm....let me see....a broom?"
