marjoreece - love at first glance

autumn and marjorie headed to main office together. they thought of all the possiblilties of what it could be. they just did not want it too be something bad.

opening the door they saw four people. roger, siobhan, mia and of course reece.

marjorie opened the door and exclaimed: "what on earth is going on?!?"

the owner stood up and began talking:

"i have gathered all of you in as i need to tell you something. due to reasons i cant disclose, i am letting go of amelia roberts from the business."

everyone gasped. marjorie and autumn looked at eachother asif a miracle had just happened. marjorie looked towards reece. a large grin had appeared on his face. he hated mia and now she was gone. mia stood up in outrage.

"how dare you roger after all i have done for you."

"you have never done anything for me mia, i dont know what you are talking about." roger had a worried looking expression on his face.

"oh really? shall i just tell everyone about what has happened."

"no mia. its fine you have been dismissed. please leave the building."

mia grinned.

"oh roger when will you learn. right everyone. since i have been dismissed i would like to let out afew things. see this as a parting gift.

autumn. remember your prom? guess who orchestrated that whole night?" mia smirked.

"well, im guessing it was you?" autumn pulled a confused expression.

"no dear, someone abit closer to home. someone you wouldnt nessecarily expect.." mias grin turned sinister.

"i have had quite enough of this, mia please leave." rodger started fidgeting.

"oh pipe down roger your usefulness has run its course. autumn your father planned that whole night."

"father... what?" autumn looked distraught for the first time in her life. she didnt know what to say. marjorie stood closer to autumn. just incase it got worse.

"oh yes, when daddy dearest over there found his little girls diary with mrs killerman written all over it he flipped. so, out of anger he decided to try and set up a fake date for you. not with kyle, but with kenny."

autumns heart dropped. for 15 years all she knew was a lie.

"amelia roberts. please leave the building and stop talking" roger knew he was being exposed. he knew his daughter was turning on him.

"shut up roger. anyway, he wrote the note. and he planted the flowers on the doorstep. oh and reece. he set it up so you would beat up kenny that night. causing you and your sisters relationship to go tumbling down. it was not me who ever had a problem. it was your daddy over there who didnt like how close you were." mia knew he job was done here and walked out.

autumn stormed out, and marjorie closely followed. she saw tears in autumns eyes and just wanted to comfort her. roger chased after autumn.

"mutton chops come back here." roger saw her carrying a bat.

reece tapped his father on the back and swung at him. punching his lower jaw. marjorie ran over to reece.

"reece, go check your sister. i will get you some ice. please be careful though my love."

reece kissed marjorie and headed out to autumn. they turned the owners 80k car to scrap metal....

1 hour later:

marjorie, reece and autumn all sat in marjs office. reece had ice on his hand, whilst marjorie was comforting autumn.

"autumn, please dont worry it will be okay. i understand how you are feeling. just think, you have smashed your dads most expensive and favourite car!"

autumn giggled. "the last time i cried was 15 years ago on that night. i just feel all the memories coming back. everything that i forgot."

winter stormed in, crashing open the door.

"where is my love, where is she"

autumn ran over to him and hugged. they both left the nursery, as there shift had ended leaving reece and marjorie in the office.

"reece. are you okay? it must be pretty tough hearing you have been living a lie."

"well, its safe to say i wont be speaking too my father for a long time. if i ever will thank mia for anything it will be showing my dad is a total and complete moron." he tried to just laugh about a totally awful situation.

"come back to my place tonight again. i really dont want you on your own tonight. especially if your dad comes to see you or anything. i can make you whatever food you want darling." marjorie did her reassuring smile. she wanted to make him feel as comfortable as possible.

"yeah, that would be nice. thank you marjorie."

marjorie and reece drove back to her place in his car, for obvious reasons. he pulled up into the drive and they walked in.

"reece what shall i make you?" marjorie really could not be arsed. but she wanted to make him feel happy.

"how about a takeaway? and then together we bake something? im a real softie for baking" he joked.

"okay then, takeaway and baking it is" marjorie had never been so happy for a takeaway.

they order pizza, a large margarita to share. whilst that came, the began baking.

"what are we gunna bake then reece, your choice of course!" marjorie had never realised how much of a softie reece really was. but she thought it was so hot.

"hmmm... what are those little cake things called. they are proper nice?"

"cupcakes you melon." marjorie laughed.

they played music. 'be my baby' by the ronnettes came on. they danced and threw flour on eachother. marjorie licked the spoon, and reece laughed. then, she flicked the cake batter on him. reece chased her all aroun just to get back at her. he ended up covering her in flour...

"even covered in flour you look so sexy" reece laughed, but he was being all serious.

marjorie let reece put the cake mix into the bun cases. he secretly put heart sprinkles in them thinking he was romantic. marjorie saw but pretended not to see. she knew he would have wanted to see her act suprised. and before they all cleaned up, the doorbell rung. the pizza had arrived.

"oh god." they burst out laughing and decided to both answer the door. the delivery man had never been more confused ever.

the pair sat at the table, laughing and joking about the day. reece had almost fully forgotten about the earlier events. that was marjories goal, just to let him have fun.

"oh marjorie, that is the most fun ive had in a while. i can truly say that i love you.." reece did his cute smile.

"reece i, i love you too." marjorie smirked.

they both just sat there and kissed. after awhile, they looked eachother in the eyes and just hugged on the sofa. slowly just drifting to sleep. not letting go of each other.

lmk if you want to see reece more protective. however he will slowly get more protective (i wont spoil what im thinking of doing though ahah)
