~Diana POV~

As I pull up to the bike rack at school, I see McCall pull up a couple spaces from me. As he takes his helmet off, I take this opportunity to talk to him. "Hey."

He looks around. "Uh, me?" He points to himself.

"No, the person behind you." I say sarcastically. He whips his head around, looking for someone that isn't there. I smirk. He looks back at me, confused. "Yes, you! You're Scott, right?"

"Y-Yeah, I'm Scott. How did you...?"

"I watched the lacrosse practice for a little bit yesterday with Allison and Lydia. Was that your friend cheering for you on the bench?"

"Oh, yeah. That was Stiles."

"Mm. Any particular reason he would react like that?"

He thinks for a moment, struggling to avoid revealing his secrets. Well, it's not like he would tell a stranger he's a werewolf, especially if he was just bitten. I think. "Well, I mean, kinda. I'm normally a benchwarmer with him, but this year I decided to actually try for first line."

"Interesting."

"Scott! Cmon, buddy, we gotta go!" 24 says as he walks up. Stiles, eh?

"Yeah, I'll be right there." Scott says.

"I'm Diana, by the way. See you later, Scott!" I then walk into the building and head to my locker. As I'm putting my helmet and violin away, my locker suddenly slams shut. I jump. "Oh! Lydia! Hi!" It's just Lydia with, I assume is Jackson, number 37.

"Jackson, this is Diana! Me and Allison met her at your practice yesterday!" Lydia introduces me.

"Hello, Jackson. Nice to finally meet you. You were really good at practice yesterday."

"Of course I was. I'm not captain for no reason." He boasts. Oh, so he's like that? Ok then.

"Right..."

"Anyways, there's a party at my house tonight! You gonna come?" Lydia asks.

"Ah, I don't know. I'll think about it. Is that ok?"

"Yeah. I'll text you my address!" She says and they both walk away.

"You're friends with Lydia already?" A voice says from behind me.

"Oh god!" I jump. I quickly turn around. It's just Isaac. "Hi! Uhm, yeah, apparently! I guess? I don't know. We just met yesterday while we watched the lacrosse team practice."

"Oh, you were watching us?"

"You're on the team?"

"Yep. Lucky number 14."

"Ohh, so that was you Jackson cut in front of! Man, he seems like a dick."

"Oh, he is. What's worse is I have to see him leave his house every day in that Porsche of his whilst I have to bike. I live across the street from him, so..."

"I bet that does get annoying. He doesn't even offer rides?" I ask as we begin walking to class.

"Ha! Only in your wildest dreams. He barely even lets Lydia ride in it."

"Really?" He nods. "How long have they been together?"

"Early to middle of freshman year."

"Hm. Interesting." We then walk into Mr. Harris's class and take our seats.
