John sat in his cubicle chair and sighed deeply. "I should finish my write up for the co-worker presentation..." John turned on his computer and logged in. "Wow, this write up is practically done." John typed up a few more sentences and did some editing before printing it out. "I hope the office printer is working. I do not want printer ink on my papers this time." John walked passed a few doors and entered one of them. As soon as he entered he noticed two girls chatting in the corner of the room.

"You saw him at the casino?" "Yeah! He was spoiling me like crazy! Free drinks, dinner, everything!" John eyed the two and waited for his write up from the printer. One of the girls waved at John kindly. "Hey John, how's your day going?" John waved back. "Hi Marilyn, my day's going pretty well." A few papers came out of the printer and John grabbed them. John was about to leave when he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Hold on, John. Can I ask you something really quick?"

"Sure..." "You go the casino often, right?" "Yeah." "Have you seen the new guy?" "Which new guy?" "You know, the handsome, fancy, sexy, guy. Apparently he has a thing for men." John rolled his eyes. "So?" "So, you should get to know him." "What makes you think I like men?!" Marilyn laughed. "Oh please, John. Everyone can see it." John sighed. "Alright. The next time I go, I'll try to talk to him."

Marilyn clapped her hands together. "Great. I know you two will get along fine." John scoffed and walked out of the room angrily. John walked back to his desk and sorted out his papers. "Hmm? What's this?" John noticed a note on the edge of his desk. It read: 'Tip: He likes Piña Coladas.' John took the note and raised an eyebrow. "Piña Coladas? The guy at the casino likes those? Weird."

Soon enough, the day ended rather quickly and John was walking outside to his car before he was stopped by Marilyn. "Did you get my note?" John raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, I'll buy him plenty of Piña Coladas." Marilyn laughed. "Good! Have fun!" She shooed him off to his car and skipped away. John glared at her before entering his car and turning on the ignition.

John parked his car on his driveway and stepped out of his car. "There better be something good on the news..." John yawned and walked to his front porch while searching for his keys. "Damn it... Where are the keys?" John eventually found them and twisted his doorknob. John took a deep breath as he stepped into his house. "Home, bittersweet home." John kicked off his shoes and sat on his sofa. He put his bag on the side of the sofa and turned on his T.V. "I think I'll go to the casino at 9:00. Don't want to keep the Piña Colada guy waiting."

John changed into some casual clothes, clean socks, and black shoes. "I can't believe I'm doing this..." John was very anxious to even step into the casino now. Should he even go? What if he gets drunk and ends up having a one night stand with him? No. One beer, that's all. John grabbed his wallet and put it in his left jeans pocket. "Here goes nothing..."

As he was driving down the street, John noticed the moon was brighter than usual. And it was only half full! "That's weird, the moon is often pretty dull on a Monday." John shrugged and continued driving. A few minutes later, John finished parking his car and walked into the casino with caution. "Hey John! How's it going? What's on the alcohol list tonight?" John walked to the bar and sat on one of the stools. "Just a beer, I'm actually waiting for someone." The bartender smirked. "Ohh, who did you score with today?" John blushed and looked away. "Well, I didn't score. Someone kinda scored for me..." The bartender raised an eyebrow. "Okay... When's the lady going to arrive?" John blushed even more. "Uh... Technically, a man..." The bartender shrugged. "A little unexpected, but no big deal. One beer coming up."

John rubbed his forehead and sighed. It was 9:30 and John's 'date' still hasn't arrived. He sipped on his beer in silence, while thinking about leaving at 10:00. Or maybe even now. "I think I'm gonna go..." The bartender looked over and chuckled. "Getting cold feet already? No big deal, I'll tell him you said hi." John rolled his eyes and slumped in his seat. "Fine... But I'm leaving in half and hour." "Why half an hour? Why not the whole night?"

John gasped. That wasn't the bartender, he was in the back getting more alcohol. John turned around and saw a tall man with a black suit and orange tie. "You must be John, pleasure to meet your acquaintance. You can call me A.J." He took a bow and stuck out his hand for John to shake. "Nice to meet you... A.J." A.J stood up and sat beside John. "So what would you like? Beer, Champagne, Vodka? Whatever you like." John shook his head. "No, no. You look like you could use a drink. How about a Piña Colada?" A.J smiled widely. "Alright. Those are actually my favourite." John smirked. "You don't say."
