"What do you mean just talking?!" Phil asked angrily.e John was in a very tight situation. Ever since the day he went back to the casino, hine and A.J ended up being in a relationship. The last casino date was a huge success. They had a few more drinks, won some games, and went to the same club. They even shared their first kiss. They've been going pretty well, Until Phil found out and became jealous. "I mean talking as in we were chatting about certain things. Why do you want to know anyway?" Phil gritted his teeth and blushed mildly. "No reason...! Just... Why are you hanging out with him so much?" John shrugged. "He IS my boyfriend." Phil's jaw dropped. "WHAT?! YOU NEVER TOLD ME THAT!"

John grinned. "He's been my boyfriend for like, 3 weeks." Phil crossed his arms and huffed. "Whatever, I don't care. You run off with men you barely know. I won't stop you." John clenched his fists. "Look Phil. I don't care what homophobic crap comes out of your mouth, I love him. And I don't think you should be talking. You suck my boss' junk for a pay check almost everyday." Phil turned away and shivered. "I..."

"Don't try getting yourself out of this, Phil. You started it. I know how much you love guys~" John started walking around him in circles. "Pretending to be a homophobe, when in reality, you enjoy any type of love." Phil's eyes started watering. "S-Stop..." John smirked. "Stop what? Speaking the truth? C'mon Phil, Just admit it. You like all genders." John nudged him playfully. "Who knows? You might as well have a crush on me-"

*SLAP*

John stared at Phil, then felt his right cheek. "You're right, John. I do like you," Phil walked out of the break room then turned his back to face John. "But then again, I never loved you." Phil walked out and slammed door. He stared at the door and sighed deeply. "Idiot..." John wiped a tear from his eye. "I knew teasing him would be a bad idea..." John felt his right cheek. "He left quite the mark..." He walked out of the break room and rubbed his forehead. "At least my shift is over." John walked back to his desk and packed his papers. "I wonder if A.J texted me..." John checked his phone and saw two messages from A.J.

(J- John)
A.J- Hey, John. I might be a little late, I planning something for the both of us tonight.
A.J- I hope it will make it up.
J- No worries, take your time.
A.J- See you soon, Sweet cheeks.
J- Whatever, See you.

John smiled. 'At least A.J's plans will cheer me up.' John thought to himself as his smile slowly turned into a frown. 'Still, I can't believe what just happened. Phil... Actually slapped me? I guess he's not good with interrogation.' John only wanted to know the truth about Phil, not make him upset. 'How can I apologize to him?' John pushed those thoughts aside and walked out of the building.

As John drove, he noticed the red and orange sunset in the distance. "Wow, what a nice sunset. This evening should be even better." He drove in his driveway and stretched his arms. "Okay, if A.J's planning something like dinner than I should wear something fancy." John unlocked his front door and walked upstairs to his room after closing the door. He opened his closet and found a black suit along with red tie. "This should do..." He slipped top on and searched for the matching bottoms. "Hmm... Where were they..? Here!" John smiled and put black pants on. "Now this is fancy."

About half an our later, A.J came home and went around looking for John. "John, I'm home!" John walked down the stairs slowly, in attempt to create a romantic scene. "Hello, A.J~" A.J smirked. "Nice outfit, sweet cheeks. It really suits you." John rolled his eyes and walked over to him. "So, what plans did you make?" A.J chuckled. "Lovely candlelight dinner, in a lovely restaurant." A.J gave John's lips a quick peck. "With a lovely man." John rubbed the back of his neck. "Heh... Alright, let's go."

The restaurant was pretty huge, which was no surprise from how many people were there. John and A.J stepped out of their car and walked toward the eating establishment. "This place looks great! Wouldn't it be crowded though?" John asked. "Meh, I think we'll be good. Plus, they know me pretty well." John smiled and took A.J's hand as they continued walking.

"Welcome to Ann-Marie's. Would you two like a table?" They both nodded. The waiter smiled. "Right this way." John leaned closed to A.J. "Why did he look at you weird..." A.J shrugged. "I guess he could resist my manly charms." John rolled his eyes and giggled. "Whatever you say, A.J."

The waiter seated them while John and A.J were having their own conversations. They talked, ate, and romanced the evening away. "I kinda got into a fight today..." John said sadly. A.J raised an eyebrow. "Really? Did you get hurt? Did you solve the issue?" John smiled kindly. "I sorta interrogated one of my co-workers without noticing, and revived a slap on the cheek." A.J shook his head. "Always causing a stir in the silence, huh John?" "I never meant too! His inner self seemed so cold in reality, I thought it needed some warmth. To be honest, I have the same issue." A.J wrapped his arms around him. "Well, whatever the issue, I'll always be the warm blanket for your cold reality."

A.J pulled out a small box. "A.J... Is that what I think it is...?" A.J smiled awkwardly. "Um... Not exactly." John tilted his head in confusion. "Hmm? What is it then?" A.J opened the box and smiled widely. "A promise ring!" John sighed in relief. "Aww, that's very sweet of you A.J. The ring looks beautiful." The ring had black and red hearts and clovers, similar to card hearts and clovers. "Do you really like it? I thought it was too-" A.J was cut off by a pair of lips on his, giving a passionate kiss. They parted and A.J slipped the ring onto John's finger. "I love it. But not as much as I love you."
