Yoru POV
"Yo, you done with your meeting?" I leaned forward on Betsy looking at Keisuke coming down the stairs.
"Yeah, Valhalla Joins us...ShittyMitchy leads my division now, but anyways." Keisuke untied his hair and smiled getting onto his bike.
Since we started dating we've met up often after Keisuke finishes school whenever I get the chance of course. Keisuke knows my Yakuza work is demanding, and if a job comes in I can't say no.
"We'll find a way to deal with that four eyed snake, don't be impatient babe~" I smirked getting up. "Lets go." I revved my engine starting up Betsy. Her roars are the best~
"Leaving so soon Yoruichi-san?" Mitsuya asked joined by Kazutora trailing behind him.
"You two seriously hang out way too often," Kazutora sighed nonchalantly. "Don't go too crazy Baji."
"Hah as if. Piss off you two where I take my girl is my business." Keisuke retorted annoyed.
"Sorry Mitsuya~ we got a movie to get to~ Come on Kei!" I yelled Betsy was warmed up enough so I wanted to leave.
"Yeah yeah, I'm comin~ see ya guys around!" Keisuke said revving his own engine the two of us sped off to catch the movie.
After...
"Oh look Kei, they're selling croquettes," I pointed to a kiosk, street vendors. Keisuke and I walked hand in hand enjoying our time after the movie. It was nighttime, but the city was as bright as usual.
"Lets go buy some, hey pops can we get 4?" Keisuke called out paying the shop runner. Even though I can handle the expenses of our dates Keisuke always pays for everything...it was very gentleman of him.
"Kei you know I can pay.." I said softly. His grip tightened on my hand.
"Hah? Hell no, your my girl if I didn't pay I'd be pathetic." Kei said looking at me his brown eyes looking down into my onyx. I looked away blushing.....Kei was actually such a green flag it scared me...
He pulls my chair out
He walks me home
He plans all our dates...
He gives me flowers or gifts..
And among other things, I'm afraid he's spoiling me. All the other guys I dated never really cared to check in on me like Kei does...and I certainly can't have nice conversations like I do with Kei.
He talks to me about his Mother, how he respects her and wants to make her proud. He mentioned a bit about his father, but apparently he died before Kei was born so he didn't really know him. I told him about how I struggled..trying to keep Manjiro on the right path, trying to make sure him and Emma had a proper childhood. Along with the complete details of my work in the Yakuza.
"My main Job is to handle the trade, warehouses. Originally I was used to get rid of enemy organizations for the right price. My stance in the Yakuza has to remain neutral or else they'll eliminate me." I said looking out at the usual harbour. "We were tight on finances...since mom and dad died. Shin did his best earning what he could with his shop but it wasn't enough to let me leave the job. Now despite anything they make me do as long as I can spoil the shit out of my family that's enough for me." I smiled sadly.
"....but it's the Yakuza, those guys are nuts aren't they?" Kei asked.
"That's why I separated from the family a bit. Worked up to a higher position, heck I have people under me too. They won't touch a hair on our heads if they know what's good for them." I answered nonchalantly.
