Chapter 31: Family

Yoru POV

After talking with the cops I smoothed things over with a bit of bribery. The captain thanked me for my service and said he'd call in if he needed anything. Izana sat next to Kakucho and I approached them.

The ambulance arrived shortly hauling Kakucho into it.

"Will he be alright.." Izana asked still sitting on the floor.

"Yeah, you should be more worried about yourself though come on." I yanked Izana up by the collar and hauled him over my shoulder.

"Ouch! H-hey! I can walk!" He protested. But I shut him up by smacking his Tenjiku behind.

"Shaddup! We're taking you to the hospital young man." I said walking to where I parked Betsy.

"...could I of just gone in the ambulance.." Izana asked me when I put him down.

"Huh? Why?" I asked. It would cost more room and they weren't relatives. So I don't think they would of let us in.

".......dammit." He muttered getting onto Betsy as I followed the Ambulance to the hospital.

"Thank you Miss, and what is your relation to the patient by chance?" The receptionist asked me. Izana already headed inside for treatment. He was going to be admitted for a few days..a broken nose, cheekbone and 4 ribs. Manjiro really gave him a harsh beating...

"He's my younger brother." I answered.

"Yes, and insurance..."

"It should be on file, I believe it covers for his stay as well?" I asked and she nodded smiling.

"Yes it does, that's all I needed Izana will be in our care for the next couple of days. You're free to leave now." She said bowing politely.

"Thanks~" I sighed walking out the doors. I rummaged through my pocket and took out a pair of keys I snatched off Izana earlier. "Now I have time to move him~" Being a guardian was amazing. Izana, you are unfortunately still a Minor huehuehue~

Back at the Sano household.

"Are you sure Nee-chan?" Manjiro asked me lifting a couch with Shin's help. Izana had it in his house, his apartment was actually really clean and classy. So I was surprised.

"Yeah, I barely even use my room anyways." I said.

"You shoved everything into my room T-T" Shin sobbed putting down the couch carefully in Izana's new room. My room was actually the biggest in our house, since I won rock paper scissors with Shin for mom and dad's old room. It had it's own washroom and walk in closet too. Some stuff I built as expansions when I got the chance.

One perk of having a family property, is being able to tear at it as we please and add. Our house was big on it's own, we don't even use half of the manor not since great grandpa and grandma were alive it seems.

"Alright Fishies, time for your new home okay~" I said looking down at the bucket of Izana's beta fish I collected.

I put them in the tank that was now full of water and added a bit of methylene blue. They were stressed from the car ride.

"Woah~ they're so pretty.." Emma swooned from the bed. She just finished ironing the sheets. "Izana kept fish huh...." Emma chuckled.

For the time Izana was staying at the hospital, aka 3 days we were all busy in the house. Well Manjiro took some time to go visit him along with Shin of course. We moved all of Izana's belongings, which was not that much honestly to my old room now. Then my things went into Shin's room for now. We decided to use two of the rooms that were on the old side of our manor to be my new room. So we had to sort through some really old things from our great grandparents and clean the room up.
