Chapter 29: Control

"I just wanna kill you."

Baji bit his lip....he knew they had to stop yoru from Killing Kisaki. But neither him or Mikey could move. It was as if everything was wilting around Yoruichi and the air had become ice.

"Yoruichi Sano!! Stop right this second!!" Shinichiro was the only one that walked up to Yoruichi with an authoritative voice pulling her away from Kisaki. Yoruichi glared up at him.

"Hah? He fucking tried to Kill Emma! Don't fucking get in my way." Yoruichi growled, Shinichiro remained un phased.

"Yoruichi. Manjiro will deal with him during the fight tonight. So fucking stand down." Shinichiro snapped.

"Who the fuck are you to order me aro-" Yoruichi was cut off by Shinichiro pinching her cheeks apart.

"I'm your fucking Older brother!! Ya damn brat!" Yoruichi whined at the pain as the atmosphere became less Icy. The kids could finally breathe normally letting out a sigh of relief.

Shin yanked Yoruichi back up onto her feet putting a hand on her back to push her away from Kisaki.

'Why did he stop her.' Kisaki thought he could only see death for the entire time Yoruichi was before him. "H-hey wait" He called out, but was met by Shinichiro's cold swirling Onyx eyes glancing back at him.

"Don't get us wrong...I didn't save you from anything trash. I just didn't want my lil sis getting worthless blood on her hands." Shin said in a deadly tone turning away from Kisaki's injured form. Shinichiro waved one hand up. "You're Manjiro's issue not ours."

Yoruichi POV

"Aw...my juice got smashed..." I pouted seeing the crushed peach tea can.

"Here." Feeling something cold on my cheek I looked up at Kei who had a can of peach tea in his hand. "You were friggen scary earlier, but not that I could blame ya." He huffed. I frowned...I did loose my cool back there, honestly I was thinking of chopping Kisaki's head off and parading it on a stick as a war prize. But...a freaky girl that can kill without hesitation...Is not was many gu- my thoughts were cut off by Kei embracing me tightly.

"K-kei?"

"I never...want you to feel like that again. I swear I'll make you so happy you never have to go through some fucked up shit like that again." Kei said looking me in my eyes making me blush. Why a literal confession of love and why now?! When...

"Alright Baji that's enough, get off my sister!" Manjiro growled yanking Keisuke off me by the collar as I walked over to Emma instead. Letting Manjiro bicker with his friend.

"Geez you had us going there Nee-chan.." Emma pouted and I chuckled hugging her tightly.

"I'm just glad...I saved you.." I said warmly into Emma's shoulder.

"O..owie."

"Oops sorry, let's go get your arm checked out. I might of broke something.." I said making Emma nod. Smiling I hoisted her up bridle style making her yelp.

"N-nee-chan?! I can walk!!" Emma said and I shook my head.

"You're not walking, gotta make sure you're safe until we get to the hospital right!" I looked back at the boys. Manjiro had Kei in a headlock, Takemitchy was trying to get them to stop fighting. Inupi and Shin shrugged. We left as a group to the hospital.

"Hmm...Minor fracture.. nothing too serious. Just try not to use your Arm for a few weeks and you'll be good in no time Sano-san." The doctor said kindly patching Emma up.
