They hadn't really approached the other, they simply exchanged a look and then started walking to a room to talk.

Choi Han and Cale were finally going to talk and fix their relationship.

At first, after they entered the room, they stared at the other in silence unsure on how to start talking or who would be the first to do it.

In the end it was Cale who did it.

"I want to apologize for what I said to you on our first meeting" Cale says "While I don't like Harris Village and was slightly drunk, that is no excuse for me making fun of those who died or saying that to someone who had just lost his family" he adds

"Me too" Choi Han admits "While it is understandable for me to not have a good reaction to your words, I went to far as there was no reason for me to beat you into a pulp especially as I should have known that you shouldn't approach a drunk person to ask sensitive questions" he adds

A bit of an awkward silence feels the room as neither know what to say after their apologies.

With his parents, Cale could simply answer their questions about things or talk about his kids and siblings after their apologies but with Choi Han...he had no idea if he should leave, talk with him more or even ask if he was forgiven as neither mentioned if they had forgiven the other for what they did(Cale never hated Choi Han and didn't feel like he had to forgive him for something Cale wished he could have done to those who bad mouthed him for no crying in his mother's funeral or telling him he shouldn't give any troubles to his father after Jour died as if he hadn't lost someone important too).

"May I ask you something?" Choi Han asks, breaking the silence

"Sure" Cale says not sure what Choi Han would ask him but curious about it

"Why did Beacrox not stop me? In some universes we were shown, it seemed like you two were close when you were kids and even if hated you...you were his master so he should have intervened as if you said anything he...he could have ended in a bad place" Choi Han says and Cale sighs, he knew that at some point(outside of Olienne and Andreas) would ask that but truthfully it was hard for him to answer even if the answer was a simple one

"So you noticed him?" Cale asks

"At first I didn't really realize it had been him until they came to me to follow me" Choi Han admits

"Beacrox...after I started my acting to protect Basen and Lady Violan, he simply distanced himself from me like everyone as if accepting that the act was what I truly was" Cale says "I technically was only a means to an end for him and Ron since they have hidden themselves from those who have killed their family by working for my mother and after she died, for me...I always expected that one day they would abandon me but...I also had hoped that at least Ron would have the decency of saying goodbye to me before he left as I had considered him a parental figure...maybe I was truly just someone they could use to protect themselves before they found someone strong to help them get revenge and nothing more" Cale had a sad look on his eyes as he said this, Choi Han didn't like it one bit but this now was something that needed to be resolved between the Molan duo and Cale

"I apologize for asking" Choi Han says but Cale shakes his head negatively

"It's okay, this was something had expected someone to ask me at some point and of course you would be curious about the people who choose to follow you" Cale says as if his feelings about the situation weren't important
