Chapter 2

She returned to Marie's residence and made her way to the bathroom.

As she immersed herself in the bath, thoughts of him flooded her mind.

Davina: I don't understand why he chose to give me that specific amount of money. Regardless, I will search for an apartment tomorrow.

Davina: The first night of work turned out to be quite lucky for me. I'm thinking of checking out that club he recommended after I get my apartment sorted out, since I'll need a steady income to get by.

She considered the benefits of not having to reveal her body and identity to everyone, thanks to the alternative provided by her Mysterious hottie.

She thought to herself,

Davina: What was going through my mind? If he hadn't arrived and made changes, would I have chosen to strip on the second night?

Davina: Things would have taken a different turn if my dad were alive. I could have secured that house if my mother hadn't insisted on having it in her name.

Davina: Oh well, thanks to AJ, I have better options.

Davina: Fuck, I didn't even get his number. What's the possibility of us running into each other again?

She signed and exited the shower.

Just as she was drying her hair with the towel, her phone rang unexpectedly.

She approached to see who it was, and to her surprise, it turned out to be her mother.

Dismissing the call, she powered off her phone momentarily and made her way to Marie's room.

Davina: What should i wear from her closet?

Once she was dressed, she settled on the couch to scroll through her social media, and that's when Marie texted her.

Marie: Davina, where are you ? Is everything okay? You left? What happened!?

Davina: We'll talk about it when you get home.

Placing her phone down, she eased into the comfort of the couch, letting go of any tension.

Davina: I just can get him out of my head. His voice, his scent, ughh. Who on earth is he?

As her mind wandered, she began to unwind, eventually succumbing to sleep.

After a couple of hours, Marie finally reached her home. She grasped her keys, unlocked the door, and made her way inside.

Marie: Davina? You here? Where are you?

Locking her door, she proceeded to the living room.

Marie: Hey, wake up. What's going on- holy shit! Where did all of that money come from?

As she sat up on the couch, Davina promptly responded,

Davina: Hot guy with the mask.....

Marie: What!!!!! What did you do? Holy shit, How much is that?

Davina: $600,000 in total, 5 from him and the rest I gathered on stage.

Marie: Girl!!!!!!! You don't have to worry about moving out!

Davina: I know! It's crazy, I'm at lost for words.

Marie: I'm happy for you! This is amazing!

Davina: That's not even it, he asked me to quit my job and handed me this card.

Marie took the card and her eyes widened.

Marie : Holy shit! This is one of the famous night clubs in town. What else did he say?
