"Vale, the home city of Beacon academy, one of the four huntsman academies in all of remnant," I say to myself, I'm standing on the dock of a passenger ship coming into port from Mistral, The boat horn blares interrupting my thoughts, I walk down to the storage area in the bottom of the ship to grab my belongings.
The ship docks and everyone on board funnels off into the city, I slowly make my way through the crowd of people still on the ship, I get bumped on the arm by someone passing, "Hey watch where you're going, Faunus," The man says, I sneer with disgust at him and continue walking, I step off the boat and walk to the side of the crowd, I walk up to some people and ask, "Hey, do you know where any food joints are?" They look at me and say, "Yeah, back on that boat," they laugh, I turn and walk away I hear them say, "Look at those wings, I bet he can't even fly."
The sun begins to set as I walk through the cities huge buildings, looking for somewhere to eat, I finally find somewhere to eat, "A bowl of noodles please," The owner nods and speeds through his kitchen and comes out with a big bowl of noodles, "Thank you," I hand him some lien and begin eating, the noodles were soft with a hint of salt, the broth was warm and sweet, as I finish a few people pass by wearing black and red clothes, one of them wearing a white trench coat and a black bowler hat, I look at where they were heading and saw a shop saying, "From Dust Till Dawn," I thank the owner and slowly walk behind them, I watch as they walk into the store, I look into the window, I see them holding a gun at the store keeper asking for something, I look as the others walk around the store, I crawl under the windows frame and to the door, as I'm Crawling I hear a loud crash on the other side of the wall, as I reach the door I hear the window break and a little girl in a red hood comes flying out welding some sort of weapon, she twirls it around as it unfolds into a scythe as she sticks it in the ground hold a pair of headphones in her free hand.
I freeze as the man in the white coat talks,
Man, "Ok... Get her," 3 guys come running out the door, one man starts to move toward her and in reaction she grabs her scythe and swings at him cutting him down, the other attack, she twirls as she hits on into the air and crushes the other one, by this time a few more men came out of the shop, I quickly grab my bow split it into two swords and leap at them, I hit one in the back and send him falling and the others turn to me, they each reach for their guns, I hold my swords at a cross and fire the gun mechanism in them, I miss, they each grab their guns and point them at me, I hold my hands up and the girl swings her scythe and sweeps them aside. I turn and the man in the trench coat is outside the store looking at the men, "You were worth every cent, truly you were," he says sarcastically, "Well Red, and you, I believe this has been an eventful evening, though I'd love to stick around, I'm afraid this, is where we part ways," he holds his cane up and a cross hair flips up showing the barrel of a gun, he fires, I jump out of the way and so does the girl in red.
I land and look around to not find the guy, I look over at the girl in red and she starts for a building I look up the building to see the dude climbing the ladder on the side, the girl uses her scythe to propel herself up the building, I run and jump into the air flying to the building, I land next to the girl and she yells to him, "Hey," He grunts, "uh, persistent," an airship then flies up to the building where he jumps in and yells, "End of the line Kids," he fires his gun after through a red crystal at us, I move away but something jumps in front of the shot, I look up to see a woman with some sort of purple shield swirling in front of us, she flicks her wand and sends purple streaks into the ship, it begins to lose control and then she creates an ice storm above the ship and brings down huge pieces of ice, onto the ship, a woman dressed in red steps out into view begins to throw fire at us her clothes glowing with the attack, the woman with the wand who I am guessing is a huntress blocks it with another ward, the ground shortly begins to glow and I jump out of the way of the glowing areas, they shortly explode and sends debris flying, the woman huntress collects the debris and fires it as a spear at the airship, the woman in red fires more shots at the incoming spear but the spear keeps on its course, the airship drops slightly and ricochet the spear off it, the huntress then make more spears, the woman in red incinerates the spears and the air ship flies off in a hurry. I hear the girl in red say, "Y... you're a Huntress, Can I have your autograph,"
A little while later,
Huntress, "I hope you understand that you put yourself and others in great danger," The Huntress says,
Me, "I don't care what happens to me as long as I know I did something or at least tried to do something,"
Huntress, "*Sigh* I understand that you were trying to help but you need to take precautions when in battle, which in some cases you did, you analyzed the enemy and knew when to stop, even if it was a distraction for them," she smirks, and walks to the side of the door, "and while I have you here there is someone wanting to meet you," a man dressed in green and with grey hair steps into the room with a cup of coffee, "Well, well, well, I don't know about you Glynda but I think we might have a very strong huntsman," he turns to me, "What is your name,"
I hesitate, "K... Kalishtar Onyx,"
Man, "Well, Kalishtar or can I call you Kal,"
Me, "Kal is fine,"
Man, "Well, Kal, where did you learn to fight like this, hmm."
Me, "I had to teach myself, both of my parents are very sick, and I thought that if I could become a huntsman that I could get the medicine that I need for them."
Man "So, you traveled all the way here to do that, why not go to any of the other academies,"
Me, "Because Beacon has the highest Graduation rate than any other school,"
Man, "Really... So you know who I am,"
Me, "Your Professor Ozpin, the Headmaster of beacon,"
Ozpin, "you want to come to my school,"
Me, "Yes please,"
Ozpin, "Well ok, it will be interesting to see how you will turn out," he says standing, he opens the door and walks out, Glynda turns to me and says, "I'll show you the way out," I stand and head out the door following Glynda.
