I find an open spot on the side of the crowd, and watch as Professor Ospin walks up to the mic,
Ospin, "I'll keep this breaf, you have traveled here today in search of knowledge, to hone your craft and aquire new skills, and when you are finished, you plan to dedicate your live to the protection of the people, But I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose, direction. I stand and head to the ballroom to secure a good spot to sleep, hopefully one where there are no people that bully Faunus, I walk around trying to find the ballroom, the see a bunch of people flocking towards a building, I assume it's the ballroom, as I walk in people have already made a bedding, or placed all of their things in an area, I walk around and eventually find an empty spot next to a wall, I situate all my things and make a bed with a sleeping bag,
People begin to leave, following the teachers, they lead us into the school and show us the different classrooms and sparing rooms, as well as the locker room to put our stuff in, they have us each pick a locker to store our gear, I pick Locker number 473, because it was the only one I could find that was empty, I set my bow and quiver in it,
They lead us to other rooms and then the mess hall, we stop there for lunch, everyone starts to looking at me when I enter, I grab some food and sit at an empty table, Ruby, Jaune, and Yang all sit next to me, "Why does everyone have to be so obvious that I'm a Faunus,"
Yang, "I don't know, it terrible though sorry you have to go through that,"
Me, "It's not just that, people back on the island looked at me the same, like I don't belong,"
Ruby, "I'm sorry, thst happened to you,"
Me, "No its not your fault, I just don't get why people are like this, they see someone not like them and just hate them for it, I mea they didn't choose to be this way, just like we don't choose our semblance, but we don't discriminate people for having different abilities, or being from different parts of the world, except for Faunus," I look at my food and push it forward, "you know what, I don't care what people think, I am going to be the best that I can be,
Yang, "yea, that's the spirit,"
I grab my food and start eating, after lunch we head to the ballroom for the night, I stay out for a bit and look at the sky, I sit down and watch as the clouds whisp by the shattered moon, "Burning the midnight oil, Kal,"
Me, "Yeah, there's just some much stuff wrong with the world, and it all has a negative effect on me, people look at me and see something different, like I'm some sort monster, whether Human or Faunus, they all look the same at me,"
Ospin, "Well that is why we are here as headmaster to teach and train you to right the wrongs of this world. Now you have initiation tomorrow morning and you need your rest, I will see you tomorrow morning,"

Me, "Good night professor," he walks off, I turn back to the moon and stand there for a bit longer, I turn to head into the ballroom for the night,
