"Clyde and Mark Mardon." Detective Patty Spivot said.

"Who?" Lena asked.

"They're known criminals, they've been arrested for robbery, aggravated assault, attempted murder, and the list goes on. They haven't killed anyone."

"Are you sure it's them?"

"Yes. Their shoes match the prints from the scene. They are of the right build and height. Mark Mardon has the star tattoo. We have everything but a confession."

Lena began tapping her foot, this was a lot. With everything going on, adding this stress was not good for anyone, especially Kate. Speaking of.

Lena looked to her daughter and she was pale. Kate was looking at the photos of Mark and Clyde, memories of that night came flooding back.

"Kate?" Lena said, but her voice sounded like an echo to Kate.

Kate's breath began to quicken.

"Kate?" Lena said, more worried.

The young girl clenched her chest with one hand and Lena immediately ran to action. Patty was right behind her. Lena slowly helped Kate to the ground and helped her take a seat.

"Kate?"

"I think she's having a panic attack!" Patty said.

"Shit. Hang on. I got something." Lena said to Patty before turning back to her daughter. "Kate, sweetheart."

The young Luthor slowly turned her head towards her mother.

"I need you to do somethings for me." Kate gave no response. "Can you tell me five things you see?"

Kate hesitated for a moment before answering.

"You, detective Spivot, the couch, my archery trophies on the shelf, the coffee table."

"Great. Now, tell me four things you feel."

"I feel your hand on my shoulder, my clothing, my phone in my hand, and grandmother's letter."

"Wonderful, now tell me three things you hear."

"I hear you breathing, the clock ticking, and the ceiling fan."

"Good. Now, can you tell me two things you can smell?"

"The scented candle and your perfume."

"Ok, last question. Can you tell me something you can taste?"

"Tea."

Kate's breath had settled down by now, she seemed to have calmed down a bit.

"Detective, could you get me a glass of water?" Lena asked.

"Of course."

Patty went into the kitchen and got just that.

"Here."

Lena took the glass and passed it to Kate.

"Here, sweetheart. Drink."

"Thanks, mom."

"I'm sorry, Kate. I-"

"It's not your fault, detective." Kate responded. "You were just doing your job."

Patty gave them a sad smile.

"Mrs. Spivot, perhaps we can hold off on this for the night." Lena suggested.

"Of course."

"I'll come by the station tomorrow."

"Ok. I'll see you tomorrow."
