On his fourth cup of coffee that day, even though it was well into the Saturday eve, Severus cursed at himself as he burned the tip of his tongue, forgetting to cool it down beforehand in the midst of the days stress. He and Minerva were just finishing up gathering the relevant documents and the very long medical scan casted during the week, accessing the Granger's contact information and readying themselves to deliver it to Albus.

Beside him, Minerva sighed wearily after re-looking over the medical scan.

"Horrible, just horrible," she was muttering to herself, "I always said to Albus they were the worst type of muggles."

"I'm sure, Minerva. Albus has chosen to take a blind eye one too many times, this will not go ignored any further." Severus responded.

"Yes, I agree," Minerva said, nodding to herself, "Right, shall we?"

The two gathered their things before heading through the Floo to meet Albus at a pre-arranged meeting they had scheduled the night before.

Upon entering, they were greeted by that oh so infuriatingly calm, grandfather like voice welcoming them into the office.

"Ah, Minerva, Severus, welcome. Come in, we have many things to discuss." Albus said, ushering them in and onto seats, waving a hand and summoning tea.

Severus grimaced at the sight of it, his coffee still on his mind and passed whilst the other two opted for it. The room was silent as the tea was prepared, and Severus waited not so patiently as Albus took his sweet time, most likely postponing hearing news he didn't want to confront.

"Here we go, Minerva," Albus said, and she nodded her thanks, "So, what is the news?"

"Albus, after looking over documents regarding Mr Potter, letters from Arabella Figg detailing things she has unfortunately noticed, and the most recent medical scan, it is prudent that Potter be removed from his relatives care." Severus stated, and offered up the stack of papers to wish Albus merely looked at before ignoring.

"I also agree with this motion, Albus, and we have gone over candidates for a new place for Potter to go, and we have decided on the Grangers residence," Minerva continued, before Albus cut in.

"I do not see how it is possible for Mr Potter to reside with the Grangers, as they are a muggle house and do not have adequate protection for those who live in it," Albus said far too easily, "Furthermore, the residence Mr Potter currently goes home to has the necessary blood ward protections to keep him safe from outside harm, which is most vital."

Severus sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Albus, you cannot seriously be suggesting that Potter returns to a family who abuses him?" He asked, voice flat.

"Severus, the blood ward protections placed by Lily herself," Severus winced at that, "are the only thing protecting Harry from being attacked by his many enemies. It is unfortunate what occurs there, but it is necessary he returns, or the blood wards fail and her sacrifice was all for nothing, you can't want that, Severus?"

Severus had to hold himself back from either resigning himself at the mention of Lily, and yelling at Albus for mentioning her at a time like this.

"Do not bring Lily into this, Albus. Potter cannot remain at that household, his medical scan proves this." Severus responded, training his voice to be steady.

"I cannot allow Mr Potter to leave-"

"Like hell you can, Albus! You cannot place an abused, traumatised child back into the place it was created from, it is despicable." Severus said, raising his voice and allowing it to and throwing any hope of being civil out the window.
