Ishtar Pov
"He wasn't too bad for a human," she thought, kicking dirt as she strolled through the village, reminiscing about their conversation from the previous night. The sky was as clear as day, the sun beamed brightly, and the wind blew with excitement—today was going to be a good day, she thought, and continued her patrol, ensuring everything was in order.
But even the best days must end, and end they did when she heard a scream from the west. As the swiftest in the village, she raced towards the child clinging to a thick branch. Without a second thought, Ishtar leapt into the tree, landing securely on the branch. "You're okay, little one," Ishtar said with a smile. She quickly scooped up the child and jumped down from the tree, landing safely on the ground. The child looked up at her with a smile, prompting Ishtar to return the gesture. "What were you doing up in a tree?" Ishtar inquired of the young kitten. "I wanted a leaf from that tree," she replied, her voice tinged with sadness. Ishtar smiled, nodded, and sprang back up into the tree to grab the desired leaf Leaping down in front of the girl, she handed it to her. "Here you go, and no more climbing in trees," Ishtar instructed the young kitten, who nodded and scampered off into the village, likely in search of her parent. Shaking her head at the child's antics, Ishtar resumed her patrol, eventually finding herself in a vast field brimming with a variety of flowers.
Choosing to pause her patrol, Ishtar found herself lying among the flowers, watching the clouds drift by in the sky, the warmth of the sun coaxing her eyes to close as a wave of exhaustion washed over her. The day continued on for the rest of the gang as they continued on with their plan of shopping for stuff that they need for their trip.
Vax's Pov
Vax found himself unable to stop thinking about the woman from the tavern; he had never experienced such an engaging conversation with a woman before. Yet, he wasn't upset about it; on the contrary, it was quite enjoyable and thrilling. Glancing back at his companions trailing behind him and his sister, their playful banter brought a smile to his face. As they progressed, Vax's attention was captured by a flash of shining blonde hair in his peripheral vision. He turned to see her walking in the opposite direction. Without hesitation, he quickly vanished from his friends' view, disregarding their calls, and pursued the woman who incessantly filled his thoughts.
Lurking in the shadows, he felt an uncomfortable sense of stalking, so he chose to step out and follow her at a discreet distance—close enough for his comfort yet far enough to remain unnoticed. His gaze attentively tracked her every move, admiring her slender yet strong figure, momentarily distracted by her ass in those form fitting shorts before he chastised himself for thinking such thoughts and refocused. He continued to trail behind, the breeze wafting her scent towards him, prompting a deep breath and a sigh, even as passersby cast peculiar glances his way, which he disregarded.
He paused momentarily as the woman assisted a lady who had dropped her bags of vegetables, helping her gather them up. "Sorry for that," he overheard her say in a melodious voice. "Thanks so much, dear," the lady responded before continuing on her way. The woman resumed her patrol through the village, searching for any signs of disturbance. Suddenly, a scream pierced the air, and in the blink of an eye, she was gone. He sighed but persisted in his search for her. He followed the screams which led him west of the village his eyes wandered to a singular tree in the distance and two small figured in the tree.
He swiftly approached as the two neared yet remained unseen. Pausing to savor the breeze, he observed the woman lower the child and ascend the tree, seizing what appeared to be a leaf. She then descended, presented it to the child, who beamed and scampered away. Although out of sight, their voices were still audible to him.
His eyes land on her figure who walked away, and he smiled followed quietly. His eyes remained on her figure as she suddenly stopped at a field of flowers before taking a rest in it and possibly falling asleep he waited a couple minutes before getting closer to the sleeping female when he was close enough he bent over her body his eyes greedily eyeing every inch of her before his eyes could continue he was quickly flipped onto his back as the female was on top of him her legs parted on his waist and her hand on his chest and her eye's narrowed.
