Chapter 27

"Gojo-sensei?" Yuji's voice sounds confused, but Nobara interrupts him.

"Did you find Y/n?"

"She left suddenly and appears few days later," Maki murmurs a "hmp" "I hope you haven't forgotten that Sukuna is loose and in Megumi's body, Gojo."

"Shake!"

"Uh..."  a male voice, clearly timid, speaks  "I'm sorry, who is Y/n?"

Oh? Could it be Yuta?

Satoru laughs at his students' words. And Panda follows with a murmur:

"It's obvious he's planning something..."

"Why so impatient, my dear students?" Satoru asks excitedly, I don't need to see him to know he's smiling "I had to step away because someone very special is back..."

I'm thrilled to be back, but I also feel sorry for Megumi. However, Satoru convinced me to wait outside the common room, and he said he would call me later... this is so typical of him that I couldn't refuse.

"Really?!" Nobara exclaims.

"Did it work?" Yuji sounds equally excited.

"We need to let Hana know... poor thing she so was nervous," comments Panda.

"Yes~~~ Y/n is back!"

I enter the room and greet the kids, I recognize Yuta. Maki looks different with all the scars on his face and body, even his outfit is different. Yuji has the curious scar next to his lip, and Panda is curiously smaller. Nobara looks the same, and Toge hasn't lost his arm.

"Guys! So glad to be back!"

"Konbu!"

I exclaim before being welcomed by the youngs, Nobara, Yuji, and Toge greet me with a hug. Panda approaches along with Maki, who greets me with a half-smile and a couple of pats on the shoulder. Yuta approaches and introduces himself timidly.

"So you're Y/n, Gojo-sensei's girlfriend, right?"

"Indeed," I nod and smile in response with flushed cheeks, "I'm his fiancée."

I show them my left hand, where a ring with a beautiful sky-blue stone shines; Satoru told me it's a jewel that has been passed down within the Gojo clan... it's the same ring that his father gave to his mother as a sign of their engagement.

"Wow~~" Yuji and Nobara exclaim almost simultaneously.

"Hmm" Maki crosses his arms "but what are you going to do amidst all the chaos around?"

Satoru laughs confidently in response as he approaches me, his hand finding my waist.

"There's not much to celebrate," he agrees, "we've lost important people, there's still someone to save, and Sukuna must be completely eliminated."

I nod to his words. Yuki, Yaga, Ijichi, and Nitta are in that group.

"So are you going to get married after dealing with Sukuna?" Nobara asks curiously.

"We want to do it before," I reply, "just have a small ceremony, until we recover Megumi and deal with Sukuna..."

"There's no point in celebrating." I say.

The kids nod.

We don't decide to waste any more time and go in search of the rest, who are in a large room within the school's facilities.

Choso is practicing with Kusakabe, Ino joins the fighting session with Takaba, and a group training session extends before we ask for order to say what we have to say.
