Thoma positioned himself beside Childe, laying down slowly. "You know, if you keep staring at me, I won't get enough sleep," Thoma teased, meeting Childe's gaze. Childe smiled back, his eyes fixed on Thoma, who seemed to glow under the moonlight. "Has anyone ever told you how attractive you are?" Childe inquired, his voice soft. "Quite a few," Thoma replied casually, settling himself more comfortably on the shared pillow and mattress. "I'm sorry if my question yesterday made you uncomfortable. I'm not sure why I said that" Childe added, staring up at the ceiling.

'Oh, he really didn't mean that' Thoma sighed. He does know why, but it really hurts. He tried to shake off the feeling. 'Why am I feeling this way? He's just a stranger,' Thoma thought to himself.

"Do you feel sad that I took back my words?" Childe asked, turning to face Thoma. "You bet," Thoma smirked, trying to sound confident. "There's no way I'm hurting because of you. Let's be real," he retorted. "Well, perhaps you're just hiding your true feelings," Childe suggested, smiling.

After a moment of silence, Thoma decided to change the subject. "Can I ask you something?" he said, looking at Childe curiously. "What is it?" Childe replied, intrigued. "Do you really work as a toy maker?" Thoma questioned, surprising Childe. "What do you mean?" Childe's voice sounded nervous, knowing he couldn't reveal his true occupation under the Fatui.  "I never saw two businessmen fight like that. I kinda find it funny if I recall the incident that happened two weeks ago." Thoma chuckled.

"Cute," Childe teased, noticing Thoma's laughface.

"Pardon?" Thoma asked, not catching Childe's words clearly.

"Nothing. So, what's the secret you're hiding from me?" Childe prodded, curious. Thoma looked surprised. "What secret?". "The one you shushed Yoimiya for telling me," Childe reminded him, seeing Thoma's expression darken. "Oh," Thoma's mood shifted, "It's nothing," he sighed, not wanting to dwell on it. "If it's nothing, your face wouldn't have turned gloomy," Childe gently touched Thoma's cheek, making him feel wide awake and slightly embarrassed. "It's nothing, trust me," Thoma smiled, backing away slightly, startled by Childe's behavior.

"Are you scared I might do something funny to you?" Childe teased, caressing Thoma's hair, making his heart race. Childe slowly moved closer to Thoma's face. "Your eyes are so pretty. They're sparkling," he complimented, causing Thoma to blush. "Thanks," Thoma replied softly, unsure how to react. "Don't you know your eyelashes are quite long and beautiful?" Childe continued, making Thoma feel stiff and flustered. Childe moved Thoma's face closer to his own. "Push me away if you feel uncomfortable," he whispered.

Their faces drew closer, and Thoma's heart raced. Just as they were about to kiss, Childe stopped. "You seem to think a lot," Childe smirked, backing away, leaving Thoma frustrated.

Chup!

Thoma decided to take the initiative and kissed Childe passionately, surprising him.  "If you want to kiss someone, you have to be confident with your decision." Thoma was embarrassed. Childe smirked. "I guess so", Childe responded eagerly, holding Thoma tightly. They shared a moment of intimacy under the moonlight, alone in the small room.

Their kisses were filled with passion, sending shockwaves through their bodies. Thoma couldn't help but let out a soft moan as Childe kissed his neck, finding his voice beautiful. They both lost themselves in the moment, enjoying each other's company. Time seemed to stand still as the world melted away, leaving only the heat of the moment. His hands cradled Thoma's face, fingers delicately tracing the contours of her skin, igniting a fire that consumed them both. Childe kissing Thoma's neck while Thoma tried hard not to let out his voice. "Nggh" Thoma let out the soft moan as soon as Childe biting Thoma neck. "You have such a nice voice, lucky me" Childe smirked and continued to bite and kiss Thoma's lips. Thoma grabbing Childe's back as he lost into Childe arms when he is biting and kissing his neck at the same time. Childe finds it cute when Thoma furrows his eyebrows and grabs his face closer. "No wonder why people says that you are cute like a shiba inu" Childe smile mischievously.

Chirp chirp chirp

Thoma grunts as he feels sunlights shooting his eyes. Thoma opened his eyes slowly, "It's already morning" Thoma mumbles. Soon he remembers what they both did last night. "I must be lost in my mind, really" Thoma smacked his face.  He stood up and tidied up their bed. "Oh, you already woke up?" Childe opens the door. "Yes" Thoma saw Childe already make up breakfast, "Eh, what with the occasion?" Thoma teased Childe as soon as he saw a plate of pancakes with green tea next to it. "Your breakfast" Childe kisses Thoma's ears. Thoma flushed red, his ears too. "Let me wash my face first so we can eat together" Thoma runs away from Childe. Childe smirked.

At the bathroom

Splash!

Thoma still can't move on from last night's accident. He still can't recover from the fact that they both kiss, so passionately. He looks at the mirror."My lips are swollen" as he touches his lips, suddenly the flashbacks from last night are running through his mind. "I must be crazy" he splashes his face again with running tap water so he can stop thinking about last night's event.

After their meal, Childe glanced at Thoma, who was still eating. "You like it?" Childe asked. "Who wouldn't? This reminds me of the good old days," Thoma replied, enjoying the pancakes Childe had cooked. Childe chuckled at Thoma's messy eating. "Why are you laughing?" Thoma asked, noticing Childe's grin. "You have something on your mouth," Childe pointed out, yet Thoma still clueless "No... it's here silly"  Childe wipe crumbs on his mouth. Thoma flushed and slowly eating the pancake. "Thanks" Thoma said before he continues eating. Childe smile.

In the evening, Thoma sweeps the yard under the cherry blossom tree. He noticed that Childe was still training himself shooting a target on the tree.

Childe stood with unwavering focus, eyes fixed on the distant target. Drawing the bowstring with practised precision, his muscles tensed as the arrow gracefully leapt from the bow, soaring through the air with a quiet determination. The arrow sliced through the air with a subtle whoosh, a fleeting whisper as it embarked on its trajectory towards the target. The familiar thud echoed upon impact, marking the successful culmination of the archer's precise aim.

"Nice shot," Thoma shouted behind Childe. "Come on, hitting the bullseye is child's play for someone in my field. Precision is an art, and I am Childe, after all. The greatest archer and warrior across the Tevyat" Childe smirk and confidently declare, shot with arrogance, leaving an unmistakable trace of self-assured pride lingering in the air.

"Childe are not your real name, are they?" Thoma asks Childe. "There's no way a businessman could have a fight with another archer." Thoma asks Childe suspiciously. Childe stood there, silent. Cold. Not move inches. "Why would I need to answer that? Do you feel threatened when you are around me?" Childe hurts. "I'm sorry. I know it doesn't make sense for you to be fighting. I had my suspicions, but I'm sorry," Thoma apologized, embarrassed. "That's okay, from what you work, you are valid to have suspicion on me." Childe hugs Thoma to calm down.

Grandma Oui watched them from a distance, smiling as she swept the leaves under the dusk, happy to see them together.
