I am Summer

During this journey Summer felt really connected to John Dory and she was beginning to feel like he was the older brother she never had and she was amazed at how much she had improved in way finding and she was getting excited to tell everyone what happened back home 

John Dory: hey Summer I figured it out you know the ocean used to love when I pulled up islands cause your ancestors would sail her seas and find them all those new lands, new villages it was the water that connected them all 

Summer: wow 🤩 

John Dory: and if I were the ocean I think I'd be looking for a curly haired non princess to start that again 

Summer: that is literally the nicest thing you've ever said to me probably should've saved it for Te Fiti 

John Dory: I did Summer of Motunui I believe you have officially delivered John Dory across the great sea 

Summer: 🤩

Mini JD: *rallying a crowd*

John Dory:  *whispers* Summer Summer Summer you're so amazing 🤩 

Summer: 🤭

John Dory: it's time 

Summer: *gives John Dory the heart* go save the world 

John Dory then immediately turns into a giant hawk and flies only to get attacked by Te Kā and Summer heads to save him when she notices that Te Kā can't touch water and she tries to help John Dory but then they argue and when Te Kā attacks he uses his fish hook causing the two of them to be bounced back far away from her

Hei Hei: 😵‍💫

Summer: *sees John Dory* are you okay John Dory

John Dory: *shows Summer that his fish hook was damaged* I told you to turn back 

Summer: I thought we could make it 

John Dory: we 😠

Summer: I thought I could make it 😔 we can fix it right 

John Dory: it was made by the gods you can't fix it 😡

Summer: next time we'll be more careful Te Kā was stuck on the barrier islands it's lava it can't go in water we can find a way around 

John Dory: I'm not going back 

Summer: we still have to restore the heart 

John Dory: my hook is cracked one more hit and it's over 😠

Summer: John Dory you have to restore the heart 

John Dory: without my hook I am nothing 

Summer: that's not true 

John Dory: WITHOUT MY HOOK I AM NOTHING 😡

Summer: *thinking* I have never seen him this upset before 😨

John Dory: *drops the heart and prepares to leave* 

Summer: we are only here because you stole the heart in the first place 😠

John Dory: no we're here because the ocean told you that you were special and you believed it 😠

Summer: *trying not to cry* I am Summer of Montunui you will board my boat 

John Dory: goodbye Summer 😡

Summer: sail across the sea 

John Dory: I'm not killing myself so you can prove you're something you're not 😡

Summer: and restore the heart of Te Fiti the ocean chose me 

John Dory: it chose wrong 😡

Then John Dory turns into a giant hawk and flies away causing Summer to feel like a complete failure and that she was not meant to compete her story and wondering why was she even in this story to begin with and that one of her friends probably would've done better than her 

Summer: why did you bring me here

Ocean: *knowing what Summer means* 

Summer: I'm not the right person *shows the heart to the ocean* you have to choose someone else chose someone else please 🥺

Ocean: *takes the heart reluctantly*

Summer: 😭😭😭

Then before Summer was about to sail home she sees a manta ray and realizes that it's her grandma's sprit 

Current: you're a long ways past the reef 

Summer: grandma 🫢

Current: I guess I chose the right tattoo 

Summer: grandma 🥹 *runs to hug her grandma* 🥺 I tried grandma I couldn't do it 🥺

Current: it's not your fault I never should have put so much on your shoulders if you are ready to go home I will be with you 

Then as Summer prepares to sail home she was hit with so much confusion about how is she supposed to do to complete her story if she ever could ever see her friends again 

And Summer having more motivation swims to grab the heart and decides it's either restore the heart and save the world or die trying
