Ghost sighed quietly, "Nothing, it's just-" he rubbed the back of his neck, "I'd rather not get into it deeply, but it's just something he asks for, a comfort thing, I think. It doesn't happen often. Just every now and then." his words were staggered and quick. Evie only nodded and didn't push further. It WAS kinda of hot. "You can tell me another day." she said simply. A small laugh escaped Ghost, "Sounds like you plan to stay a while." he ran a hand through her hair. "I'll be here until you tell me to go." Evie said quietly, her voice tired. Ghost smiled, "Such a good girl, even when I'm the asshole that cut your face open." he kissed her forehead and stood, ridding himself of the gear he wore daily. Once the gear was gone, his shirt came off next. Evie laid with her head on her hands, admiring the view of his bare torso with the lights and shadows hitting his skin supremely. "Don't forget to blink, dove." he said as he tossed his shirt on the chair nearby with the rest of his attire. Evie smiled, embarrassment and lust mixing her expression.
Ghost laid behind Evie, pulling her close to him with an arm over her stomach. He settled into the nape of her neck, his breaths sending chills over her skin. "Evie," Ghost said against her skin. She hummed in response. "How long did you talk to Price before he died?" he asked. Evie smiled and remembered one of the last conversations they had.
"I'm glad you called. We're set for a mission here in a few days." He said.
"Where? And who are you going with?" I asked, feeling an uneasiness in my chest.
"No far from here, shouldn't take long. It'll be Soap, Simon, and Gaz, as usual. Laswell is coming, too." His tone sounded like he was smiling.
"Soap," I laugh, "That's not his real name, I assume." I say.
"No," he laughed as well, "he just prefers 'Soap'."
It was quiet for a moment.
"You be careful," I say with worry.
"I'll be fine, sweetheart," he exhaled loudly, "These boys are the best."
Evie stays quiet, still worried for her father though they hadn't been in each other's lives for long.
"I promise it'll be fine. Look, we'll talk more when I get back and maybe before we take our trip, I can introduce you to the boys. Why don't you search around the east of the States and pick somewhere to go. I've gotta go. Love you, sweetheart." Price said softly.
"Love you, too." I said before hanging up, the uneasy feeling only growing stronger.
After Evie finished telling Ghost of the conversation, she noticed his grip around her hand tightened. She placed a gentle hand over his, "Simon?" she said with concern filling her tone. He cleared his throat, "I'm alright, dove." he exhaled slowly. He shifted, hugging Evie tightly for comfort, grief suddenly taking over him. He hadn't thought of his team in so long, the pain felt numbing as it radiated through his veins. It was quiet for a moment before Ghost chose to let Evie into the pain he felt, "Johnny was my best friend," he said with a steady, low tone. "Tell me about him," Evie said cautiously. Ghost didn't speak at first, he only sat up and leaned back on his hands as he looked down at her. Evie turned over to face him, waiting for him to speak. "One of the best men I ever met. He'd love you." he looked away from Evie, fighting off the emotions that were building in his chest, feeling like a warm blade piercing him. "Why do you say that?" Evie asked. "Both of you would drive me crazy, you two have similar personalities." Ghost said as he shook his head. Evie laughed, "Yeah, you're probably right. I wish I could've met him." Ghost nodded gently, "Me too." Evie sat up, taking Ghost's hand in hers, "I'm sorry, Simon." she said softly. Ghost only nodded, "You need some rest," he said sounding tired himself.
Evie woke a few hours later, seeing Ghost wasn't in bed anymore. She sat up and stretched, pain throbbing in her face. She pressed against the wound and flinched. "That was stupid." she said as she shook her head. "What is?" Ghost said as he emerged from the bathroom, making Evie jump. "Jesus," she gasped. "No, I'm Simon." he said with a smirk on his face. "What are you doing?" she asked. He shook his head and laid back down, putting his head on her lap as she sat with her legs on each side of him. He caressed her thighs gently and she did the same to his hair. "I have to go meet with König," he said slightly annoyed. She topped fussing with his hair and gave him a lewd look. He rolled his eyes after looking up at her, "Not for that," he said with a small laugh, "But I do need something before I go." he lifted his head, biting at her thigh. She inhaled sharply, pushing his head away from her now tender skin. "I'm still recovering from your last "something"." she laughed, pointing at her face. Ghost's expression softened with guilt, "I didn't mean to." he whined as he dramatically laid his head back down. She laughed and lifted his face to look at her, "Tonight, I promise." she kissed his forehead. He pulled away, "No, no. I give you forehead kisses not the other way around." he argued. He tilted his head forward, "One more." Evie laughed and planted a soft kiss once more. "I'll see you later." he slapped her thigh and pushed himself off the bed.
After Ghost left Evie alone, she fell back asleep for a while but someone coming into the bedroom woke her up. It was König.
He stood still, almost terrifyingly. Evie sat up quickly and pulled the blanket with her to cover herself though she was fully clothed. "H-Hi, König." she stammered. "Maus." his accent thicker than she remembered. He didn't say more, just eyed her closely. "Did you need something?" Evie asked. Just as she finished asking, Ghost walked in and stood next to König. "We have something to ask of you," König said with a tone that shook her internally. Fire spread over her spine when she noticed the look in König and Ghost's eyes.
Evie pulled the blanket off and stood up slowly. "What is it?" she asked somewhat hesitantly. "A game. That's all." König said smoothly. "O-Okay." Evie nodded. She took a step as she noticed the pleased look in Ghost's eyes. The air felt thick, lust swirling between the 3 bodies so intensely Evie swore she could reach out and touch it. "After you, Maus." König stepped aside and held his arm out towards the door. "So much for recovery," Evie said with sarcasm and she received a harsh slap on the ass from Ghost. "Behave." he said with a dark tone. A yelp left her lips as she walked out of the bedroom and into the hallway.
Standing in the elevator, Ghost and König stood behind Evie as she stood in front of the doors, both leaning against the wall with their hands on the rails. Evie stood nervously as she watched the numbers change to the floor with the Tracking Yard. Her heart beat loud in her ears and her thighs pulsed violently for what was coming.
You looked up, the mirrored walls showing Ghost nodding to König. He stood up casually, his arms swinging gently to his sides. His gloved hands grazed up her bare arms, sending chills over her skin. It settled between her thighs and she squeezed them together but stood still. "She's as obedient as you said." König said calmly yet his tone was dark. Ghost nodded once more. His eyes just as dark as König's tone. "You run fast, ya?" he whispered in Evie's ear. She nodded while she tried not to let her knees buckle from under her. "Good," he whispered once more as the elevator door opened. "Now run," König slapped Evie's ass harder than Ghost did and she sprinted forward.
