Marian: *smiles* Don't worry about it. I'm Marian, by the way. Are you a new student?

Yan²: *nods* Yes, I just transferred here. I'm Yhannie, but you can call me Yan².

Marian: *chuckles* Yan², huh? I like it. It's nice to meet you.

(Julian, who has been watching the interaction, approaches the two girls)

Julian: *grins* Hey, Marian, making new friends, I see.

Marian: *rolls her eyes playfully* Julian, this is Yan², the new student I was just telling you about.

Yan²: *shakes his hand* It's nice to meet you too, Julian.

Marian: *nudges Julian* Be nice, will you? Yan² is new here, and she could use some friendly faces.

Julian: *nods* Of course, of course. We're here to help, Yan². Anything you need, just let us know.

Yan²: *smiles gratefully* Thank you, both of you. I really appreciate it.

Marian: *grins* That's what friends are for, right? Come on, let's walk to class together.

Gelo: *steadies Yan²* No, no, it's my fault. I was in a hurry and wasn't paying attention.

(Their eyes meet, and for a moment, time seems to stand still. Yan² feels her heart racing, captivated by Gelo's warm gaze)

Yan²: *blushes* I-I'm sorry, I should have been more careful.

Gelo: *smiles* Don't worry about it. I'm just glad you're alright.

(Marian and Julian, Yan²'s friends, witness the interaction from a distance and exchange a knowing look)

Marian: *nudges Julian* Did you see that?

Marian: *nods* We should probably go talk to her.
