CHAPTER 3: A Blossoming Friendship

(The scene opens in the school cafeteria during lunchtime. Yan² is sitting at a table with Marian and Julian, when Gelo approaches them)

Gelo: *smiles* Hey, Yan², I was hoping I'd run into you.

Yan²: *looks up, surprised but pleased* Gelo! Hi, what's up?

Gelo: *gestures to the empty seat* Do you mind if I join you?

Yan²: *shakes her head* Not at all, please sit.

(Gelo sits down next to Yan², and the two engage in a lively conversation, oblivious to the amused looks exchanged between Marian and Julian)

Marian: *leans in to whisper to Julian* Look at those two, they're practically in their own little world.

Julian: *chuckles* Yeah, I'd say our plan to introduce Yan² to Gelo is working out pretty well.

Marian: *nods* Definitely. I haven't seen Yan² this relaxed and happy since she started here.

(The conversation between Yan² and Gelo continues, with the two of them laughing and sharing stories about their interests and experiences)

Gelo: *smiles* So, Yan², what do you like to do for fun?

Yan²: *thinks for a moment* Well, I really enjoy reading, especially classic literature. And I love going for long walks in the park.

Gelo: *nods* That's great, I'm a big reader myself. Maybe we could swap book recommendations sometime.

Yan²: *beams* I'd love that! And maybe we could go for a walk in the park together, if you're interested.

Gelo: *grins* Absolutely, I'd be happy to. It's a date, then.

(Yan² blushes at Gelo's words, and the two continue their conversation, oblivious to the world around them)

Marian: *leans back, satisfied* Well, would you look at that. Looks like our little matchmaking scheme is paying off.

Julian: *nods* Yeah, those two are definitely hitting it off. I'd say Yan² is well on her way to making a new friend, and maybe even more.
