As the tall male laying down in grass opened his eyes, he was greeted by a gorgeous sunrise, endless landscapes disappearing in the yellow hue. When he snapped out of his daze, he decided to get up and wander around, since until now, he hadn't seen anything as beautiful as what he's witnessing.

He's actually feeling quite cold now that he thinks about it...-wait. Cold?

"Wait a damn minute." He speaks with a low baritone voice that is not his, and now that he thinks about it, he's also way too tall compared to his normal height!

He looks around, searching for a body of water, slightly panicked. He quickly finds one, when he goes to see his reflection however, it only confirmed what he thought...this wasn't how he's supposed to look like at all! And-

...why was there a very familiar sort of slime bouncing towards him?

To explain all of this, why don't we go back in time a little?

Reader POV :

I was your average Genshin player, a teen with hormonal issues, who spent most of his days doing mostly nothing.

My current activity right now mainly consisted of playing Genshin Impact... and eating. For now, I was doing my commissions, sulking about losing my 50/50 on Neuvillette, one of my favorites. I mean, I wasn't gay, I think. But god damn were these Hoyoverse fictional men hot! Can you really blame me though, I'm sure everybody discovered they were Bi as soon as they saw Kaeya for the first time.

Once again, as soon as I finished my commission, which basically meant making Zhongli jump on mushrooms, I immediately went to pull on Neuvillette's banner, hoping I would get an early. Begging the god of luck in my mind, while savoring my favorite totally homemade noodles, I pressed on the one wish button.

And there he was, a gold star. "OH.My.stars." I laughed at my bad joke, smiling broadly as I skipped through all the three star weapons, the splash art finally coming into view. But before I even got to see it, my mind blanked out, and I could feel a cold sensation washing over my body, collapsing on my desk, as I laid there unconscious.

I eventually woke up, but...I had a horrible feeling that the magnificent view I saw, somehow wasn't a dream, I was cold as well, which only proved further that this wasn't fiction. I could feel my body wasn't the same, I was too tall, and...I could also feel something attached to my lower back, my head was feeling heavy as well. But in my panicked state, all I could think about was seeing my reflexion.

As I approached a nearby pond, my heart thumped wildly. It almost came to a stop when I saw my reflexion.

"What the hell..." I said, realizing this wasn't my voice either. My new body was, weirdly nice. It felt natural moving in it. I became a tall handsome man with dashing cold blue eyes, along with a toned physique, I also had a pair of white horns...-wait, white horns?! And a..-a tail?! Whatever I became certainly didn't look friendly, since I now also realized I could feel strength and power running through my blood. I looked at my body closer, I could see white markings over my arms, feel them on my back as well.

"Did I just get hit with the isekai trope..?" I mumbled to myself, unsure of what to make of that information. My sharp pointy elf like ears picked up a familiar sound, one only heard in the popular game I played. As I slowly turned my head around, I saw that cute shape that I used to keep gushing over like a madman, even having some as plushies, a slime, a real geo slime, right in front of my eyes.

It finally hit me, when the geo slime nuzzled my white scaly tail, that no, this wasn't a dream, I could feel everything. I really did end up getting isekai'd, but, did I actually die? I would think aboutthis later, I decided, concentrating on the slime instead, picking it up easily with two hands. "Ah, I really am not human huh? My hands are all white..." I quickly retracted this statement when th geo slime suddenly squirmed, a weird energy coursing through me, my hands changing color, to a golden hue. I realized what this meant easily, knowing how geovishaps worked in the game. I had just changed to an element, in this case, geo.

"I'm sorry little guy I hope I didn't hurt you" I gently put the slime down, suprised when it simply pressed against the palm of my hand, asking for pets, which I happily gave him, because I'm a sucker for the cute and squishy Genshin slimes. This calm moment allowed me to look at my surroundings fully, no longer as panicked as before.

I took this time to think. 'I know I'm in Genshin Impact, so why aren't there any hilichurls, or even...ugh, I don't even know where I am...' "I don't know where I am?" I echoed my thoughts, knowing I had a very good memory, so I either had to be in a nation that hadn't released yet, meaning Natlan or Snezhnaya. Either that...or I wasn't in the same timeline at all. The second option, which I was slightly apprehensive about, since we barely have information on how it used to work before the timeline whre we play Traveler in the game, seemed more plausible to me, 'sadly' I thought. I couldn't see the red land or wars that were described for Natlan, nor the cold snowy land of Snezhnaya that we could see in some trailers.

All I saw was... a rather peaceful scenery, barren of human activity, with nothing other than nature, green and flamboyant, and slimes of course. Which were bigger than I thought. I only just remembered I was some sort of vishap species, a dragon or something. I somehow could absorb the elements, and wasn't a neutral element like anemo or geo to begin with.

Our dear (Name) decided that he would ponder this question later, instead focusing of finding out where, and when he landed in Teyvat.
