i woke up with my head on leah's chest. her arms were wrapped tightly around me. i looked up and studied her face. her lips were slightly parted as she let out soft snores.

as her eyes fluttered open a small smile appeared on her face.

"morning pretty" i said as i moved some hair from her face.

"mornin" she yawned.

"good sleep?" i asked.

"very" she replied.

"i'm glad" i said as i pressed a kiss to her collarbone before nuzzling my face in beside hers.

"how did you sleep love?" she asked

"in your arms amazingly" i said.

"aren't you a cutie" she said.

the door knocked.

"come on kids wakey wakey" mikeys voice came.

i rolled my eyes and laughed. "we're up michael"

i got up out of bed and dragged leah up with me while she groaned about having to leave the bed.

"i was comfy there" she complained as we walked down the stairs.

"me too le le" i laughed.

we sat at the table where mum had already prepared breakfast.

"thanks mum" i said as i shoved a huge mouthful of food into my mouth.

"easy there tiger" she laughed as i struggled to chew, having put too much food in my mouth.

"what? i'm starving" i said after swallowing.

my mum left the room and i looked at leah.

"someone made me use up all my energy last night" i raised my eyebrow at her.

she smirked and looked down at her food.

"got nothing to say now do you?" i teased. "last night you were a lot more vocal, why so quiet now?"

"oh shush" she said shoving my arm as her cheeks turned red.

after we ate, we went up to get ready for the day. our old school friend sophie has invited us to her house after finding out we were back home.

of course mum had to alert every person she knew we were back.

"make sure your home for dinner girls. amanda is coming over" mum said as we put on our shoes.

"okay mum" i said.

"hey those are my shoes" leah said as she looked at her trainers on my feet.

"shush leah. we've already had this discussion" i said. "what's yours is mine"

"whatever" she rolled her eyes playfully.

"bye guys" i called through the house as i opened the door.

"bye" i heard several times from various locations in the house.

me and leah got into my car as leah drove us to sophie's house.

i knocked on the door and she opened it. she squealed as she saw us and grabbed us both in a tight hug.

"how are you both" she asked.

"we're good" leah said.

we followed her into the house and sat in her living room.

we chatted about lots of things. she told us about her new job and we told her how our football was going.
