it's been about a week. me and leah are normal, we still hook up but afterwards things feel a bit off. as if there's some sort of tension in the air. something that leah wants to tell me but she's holding back.
things are fine with us, apart from when i ask her about that moment.
leah facetimed me as i was preparing dinner for me and alessia.
"hiya love, you alright?" i asked as i set my phone up. she was in a towel and had just gotten out of the shower.
"no. i've got a date in an hour and i have no clue what to wear" she said rubbing her forehead.
"well where are you going for this date?" i asked.
i couldn't help but feel slightly deflated at the fact that she's got a date. i have no idea why.
i care about leah a lot. i think more than friends and more than friends with benefits.
i don't know. things seem fine now how they are so im not going to do or say anything that could mess up what we have right now.
"a bar" she said.
"posh bar or just a normal one" i asked.
"it's posh. beth planned it" she rolled her eyes.
"just wear like a shirt and some nice pants. them beige ones are nice" i said.
"thanks babe your a life saver" she said.
"well it's my job to be here whenever you need me" i said.
she pulled away the towel and began to dress herself.
"tell me more about this date" i said.
"i don't even know the girl. beth's done it as a blind date kinda thing. i'm not too excited really" she said.
"she said i need to be loved up. that i'm a moody bitch and i need someone to fix me up" she said.
"well im going to be having words with that bethany. how dare she call my leah a moody bitch" i said.
"well i mean, i have been quite unpleasant recently" she admitted.
"babe your not a moody bitch" i said.
"thanks love. how should i have my hair" she asked.
"low bun. curl the front bits. your date won't be able to keep her eyes off you" i said.
"well id rather have someone else not be able to keep their eyes off me" she mumbled.
"what was that?" i asked not hearing what she said.
"nothing" she said.
after she finished her hair she started looking around her room.
"less dinner!" i called.
she came to the kitchen and we sat down to eat.
"le what are you doing" i asked.
"do you know where the matching beige blazer is" she asked.
"i think it's here" i said. "yeah, you left it here a few weeks ago"
"shit" she mumbled.
"leah your all fancy, you going out somewhere?" less said.
"i've got a date" she said.
"good for you, have fun" less said.
"thanks love" leah said.
"ev im coming to pick up the blazer"
