A few weeks have gone by, and I've attended several therapy sessions, which have been incredibly helpful in processing what happened. Billie has been amazingly supportive, helping me every step of the way.

On top of that, we finally settled on a wallpaper for our bedroom. It's the perfect blend of both our tastes, and it feels like a small victory in the midst of everything else and We've made a decision to dive back into our treasure hunt and track down the last relic.

After our disappointing search at the Alamo well a few months ago, Billie suggested we contact Kacey for insight. With a nod, she dialed Kacey's number and put the phone on speaker.

"Hey Kacey, it's Billie," she greeted as the call connected.

"Hey there, long time no talk!" Kacey's voice came through, tinged with excitement.

"Yeah, it's been a while," Billie replied. "Listen, we could use your expertise. You remember the dead end we hit at the Alamo well right. Any thoughts on where we should look next?"

There was a brief pause before Kacey spoke again. "Actually, I've been doing some research, and I think I've got something. The Alamo well was not the right place. Have you ever heard of Viesca?"

"Viesca? No, can't say I have," Billie admitted, exchanging a glance with me.

"It's a town in Mexico, but it used to be called Alamo," Kacey explained. "I stumbled upon some historical records that suggest it could be the key to the relic."

Billie and I exchanged hopeful looks. "That's incredible, Kacey. Thanks for the tip," Billie said gratefully.

"No problem. Good luck, you two. Let me know how it goes!" Kacey replied before ending the call.
As the call ended, Billie turned to me. "Looks like we're heading to Viesca."

As we are on our journey to Mexico aboard Billie's private plane, Kacey diligently conducted her research. Suddenly, she interjected, "Shall I deliver the good news or the terrible news first?"

With a wry smile, I retorted, "We just skip the 'bad' and proceed directly to 'terrible'?"

Billie chuckled at my response. "Very well, Kacey. Please enlighten us."

Kacey nodded, her expression turning serious. "The good news is that Viesca aligns with our research, including the existence of a well situated in the center of the town."

"And the terrible news?" Billie inquired, a hint of concern in her tone.

"Unfortunately," Kacey continued, "the historical records indicate that during the 1920s, new developments resulted in the construction of a bank directly atop the site where the well once stood."

I couldn't help but express my disbelief. "So, essentially, we must rob a bank to access the well? That's..uh pretty terrible.

Kacey dug deeper into her research and dropped a surprising twist. "Actually, that was the bad news," she casually remarked.

I shot her a disbelieving look, my eyebrows shooting up. "You've got to be kidding me," I exclaimed.

She nodded, continuing her discovery. "Twenty years ago, someone broke into the bank vault and blew a hole in the floor. And guess what they uncovered?"

I leaned in, intrigued. "The well?" I guessed.
Kacey nodded. "Bingo. But here's the kicker. The bank robber was also on the treasure hunt."

My jaw practically hit the floor. "No way. So, what happened?"
"That's where it gets even crazier," Kacey continued. "They caught the guy. His name's Diego Salazar."
