A.N.: I'm back with another chapter! This fanfic will not die!

Though I can't lie, writing the first half of this was PAIN. I likely won't be doing that many more Earth scenes after I wrap up Day of the Lily, outside of y'know, episodes or comics and all. Using irl memories and trying to integrate them into the story was a...let's call it a trying experience and leave it at that.

AND 18K!!!! I--just--there aren't words to describe how thankful I am for you all and how happy I am that everyone seems to have enjoyed this fanfic. Thank you all for the good wishes and luck! Thank you all for your incredible patience and kind words of encouragement.

I don't really talk about Winx Club news, but a few months back I saw some leaks and then the official leak for the reboot for 2025 on Winx Club's official Youtube channel. Am I the only one who gets Miraculous Ladybug/Unicorn Academy vibes? I can't be the only one, right?

I have so many new ideas for this fanfic, so the only thing left for me to do is to bridge the looooong AU gap between S1E5 & S1E6 in the next like...four to eight chapters.

I know, it's been a long wait for the canon Winx Club stuff, but there's so much more worldbuilding and a whole 'nother plot I want to squeeze in before then (no spoilers, sorry XD). Plus, I want to add more from the comics too.

Now, plz enjoy!

Chapter : Day of the Lily Pt.4:

This wasn't the first time that I had been to the Aquarium of the Pacific, but that had been over a decade ago--wow, I'd been six.

Holy shit.

I'm sixteen, and then I go and say stuff like that. Merlin, I feel old (maybe because I am...?).

We exited the car, me and the girls leading the way, while Mum and Daddy lagged behind.

Both Stella and Musa were muttering in mildly hushed tones about the polluted state of the world.

"All these fumes...it's so yucky!" Stella waved her hand in front of her face.

I had been treated to the hilarious site of a motorcycle past us as we headed to the stairs, enough bike fumes billowing out for her to cough in surprise before she gagged.

"And unsanitary." Musa gave a shudder. "Tecna would be up in arms about the state of the technology here."

"They're too reliant on fossil fuels, that's for sure." Stella agreed.

"It's not perfect, but Earth is magicless." I reminded them that we were here, and they were bashing our planet's ways in front of us. Not that I really cared... "We make do in whatever ways we can. Most of us are only human after all."

"Mm." Violet giggled, glancing back at James with mirth in her eyes. "Most of us, more like only one of us."

"I can still ground you." James groused, Lily chuckling as she patted his arm.

We walked across the street, passing by several set-up tents selling cheap stuffed toys, stickers, tiny character-themed backpacks, and shirts.

"Is this common?" Stella looked around. "Did we enter a commoner's marketplace?"
