I walk down the street,basketball in hand. It doesn't seem as bright,and the hyper and energetic child playing with their friends is no longer me.
It was nice while it lasted. When did it end? When did I grow up?
Was it when the arguements I had with her became more then just bickering?
Was it when I no longer trusted him as much as I once did?
Was it when I didn't care if my parents didn't let me go to the park?
Maybe it was something else entirely?
...i miss being a kid. growing up is scary.
but without those experiences,i wouldn't be me.
