As Vihanna made her way through the grand main entrance of the palace, she couldn't shake off the lingering thoughts of the stranger from earlier. Despite her desire to seek his company, protocol demanded that she enter through the main gate as a guest. The sight that greeted her was nothing short of breathtaking - the palace adorned with shimmering lights and lavish decorations, a testament to the opulence within. Ornate chandeliers hung from the high ceilings, casting a warm glow over the marble floors embellished with intricate designs. Velvet draperies in rich hues cascaded from the windows, adding a touch of regal elegance to the grandeur of the palace.
Stepping onto the main grounds where the festivities were about to commence, Vihanna's attention was diverted by the ringing of her phone. It was Aradhana, her best friend, informing her of their arrival.
"Hey, Vihanna! We're here. Where are you?" Aradhana's voice crackled with excitement.
"I'm just entering the palace. I'll meet you inside," Vihanna replied, a smile playing on her lips.
Amidst their conversation, a young girl accidentally spilled her drink on Vihanna's saree, prompting a hurried apology and a suggestion to clean up inside the palace.
"Let's get that cleaned up," the girl said apologetically.
"Thank you, that would be helpful," Vihanna replied, trying to remain composed despite the mishap.
The girl introduced herself as Princess Alisha, the sister of the prince whose birthday was being celebrated. As they walked towards the palace, Vihanna found herself drawn to Alisha's warmth and charm. They exchanged pleasantries and discovered common interests, with Vihanna revealing her role as a social entrepreneur and Alisha sharing her passion for music.
Entering the palace, Vihanna was captivated by its timeless beauty, feeling as though she had stepped into a scene from a period drama.
"This place is stunning," Vihanna remarked, her eyes wandering in wonder.
"Thank you. We're glad to have you here," Alisha replied with a smile.
Guided to a bathroom by Alisha, Vihanna busied herself with removing the stain from her saree. Just as she was about to leave, she heard a familiar voice echoing through the corridor, sparking her curiosity.
"Did you hear that?" Vihanna asked, her heart racing.
"Hear what?" Alisha inquired, turning towards the door.
But when they opened it, the corridor was empty, the stranger nowhere in sight.
Returning to the main grounds, Vihanna joined her colleagues and best friend, engaging in conversation as they awaited the event's commencement. The atmosphere buzzed with anticipation as the anchor took the stage, welcoming the guests and inviting the prince to join him.
"Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed guests, it is with great pleasure that I welcome you all to the grand birthday celebration of Prince Raghuvanshi!" the anchor's voice boomed through the hall, drawing everyone's attention.
And as the prince made his appearance, Vihanna was left speechless with shock—it was none other than the stranger she had encountered in the cab.
"He's the prince?" Vihanna whispered, her eyes widening in disbelief.
