Vihanna is in a village for her project, about 45 minutes away from adhyaynagar. She's returning to the city but couldn't get a cab due to network issues. Standing at the bus station outside the village, she notices a pregnant woman with her 3-4 year old daughter. The little girl shows Vihanna her toys, and Vihanna enjoys their conversation, feeling a pang of missing her own mother.
Her phone rings, and seeing her mother's caller ID, a big smile forms on her lips. She moves a few steps away to talk, sharing details of the village and the people she met, as she habitually does with her mother.
As she turned around after the call, Vihanna was shocked to see the little girl running towards the main road, with a truck approaching. She shouted the girl's name, witnessing her mother running behind her to save her. The mother pushed her daughter aside but fell unconscious on the ground. Vihanna ran towards them, picking up the little girl and checking the mother's injuries, finding none visible.
She asked for help from the truck driver, but he was already gone. Calling for an ambulance, she was told it would take almost 3-4 hours to arrive. Trying her office friends, no one picked up. She then called Ajeet, but his phone was busy. Remembering the card she was given, she dialed the number of the prince's manager, Arjun.
After five rings, he picked up, and Vihanna, stressed and tensed, managed to say, "Is this Arjun speaking? I'm Vihanna. We met a few days ago... I need your help... It's really urgent... An accident happened and she's not opening her eyes. Nobody is helping us." Her voice broke, tears flowing.
Hearing her distress, Aadhyant reassured her, "Vihanna, calm down. I'm here with you. Stop crying. Please, take a deep breath." Recognizing his voice, she wiped her tears and followed his instructions. A moment later, he asked, "Now tell me what happened."
Vihanna recounted the whole incident and provided their location. After hearing her, Aadhyant said, "Stay there. I'll be there in 15 minutes."
After exactly 15 minutes, both Aadhyant and Arjun reached there, quickly getting out of the car. Vihanna was sitting at the bus stop with the woman's head in her lap, and the little girl standing nearby. As they approached, Aadhyant's eyes met Vihanna's, and he nodded in assurance. Both of them picked up the woman from the ground and made her sit in the backseat of the car.
Vihanna quickly grabbed her bag and the little girl's hand, rushing towards the car. She also sat in the backseat with the little girl. Arjun quickly started the car, and in the next fifteen minutes, they reached the city hospital.
As Aadhyant entered the hospital, the whole staff was at his service. The woman was admitted to the hospital, and the checkup was ongoing. Vihanna, Aadhyant, Arjun, and the little girl waited in the VIP waiting room outside the ICU. The girl was continuously crying, and Vihanna was trying to soothe her, asking her to stop crying. "Stop crying, baby, your mumma will be fine," she reassured, though she herself was on the verge of tears. That incident shook her to the core.
Aadhyant came and sat in front of the little girl, wiping her tears gently, and asked in a soft voice, "What is your name, bachcha?" The little girl was a bit afraid and tried to hide behind Vihanna. Vihanna tried to make her comfortable and said, "Do you know, baby, he is a real-life prince? He has a real palace. Do you want to see a palace?" The girl nodded eagerly.
Looking at Aadhyant, the girl asked innocently, "Are you really a prince? Will you show me your palace?" Aadhyant smiled warmly and replied, "Yes, I am a prince. You can come to the palace to play anytime you want." The girl smiled back and introduced herself as Sneha.
Aadhyant then asked, "Sneha, do you know your father's name?" She nodded. Aadhyant pointed at Arjun and said, "Would you tell that uncle about your father's name or any other information you know about your home?" Sneha nodded in agreement. Arjun took the little girl with him to gather information to contact their family.
After they went, the doctors came out and informed both of them that the woman and her child are both fine. After receiving the news, they could finally meet her, and the doctor left. Hearing the doctors, both of them felt relieved, but Vihanna couldn't control her emotions anymore. She burst into tears, sitting on the chair nearby, covering her face with her palms and letting her emotions pour out.
Aadhyant had no clue why she was crying. He immediately kneeled down in front of her and said, "Vihanna, what's wrong? The doctor said everything is fine. Both the mother and child are fine. Why are you crying?" He couldn't bear to see her in such distress. He wanted to hug her tightly to comfort her, but he knew it wouldn't be appropriate.
After a few minutes, she stopped crying and wiped her tears. In a crooked voice, she said, "I... thought she was gonna... die... I couldn't do anything... Nobody helped us... What if you didn't come on the right time? She would've died in my arms." Tears started flowing again from her eyes.
Aadhyant held her hands gently and gave them a light squeeze. "But nothing wrong happened, Vihanna. Everything is fine. And they are fine BECAUSE OF YOU. If you weren't there with them, God knows what would've happened to them. You did help her in the best possible way. Stop blaming yourself and be proud of yourself for doing what other people don't do these days."
Hearing his sincere words, she stopped crying. Aadhyant's right hand moved towards her face, and with the pad of his thumb, he wiped her tears from the corner of her eyes. His simple touch was so consuming that she closed her eyes and felt it deeply. Aadhyant was looking at her face, lost in her. Suddenly, they heard someone clearing their throat. Vihanna opened her eyes suddenly, and Aadhyant also jerked his hands back. Both of them noticed Arjun standing there with the girl. Both of them stood up abruptly at the same time.
Vihanna said to the little girl, "Sneha, you can meet your mother." The girl got excited and ran into the room where her mother was. Arjun informed both of them that Sneha remembered her father's mobile number, and Arjun called him, informing him about his wife's condition. He was reaching there in 5 minutes. Arjun asked Vihanna to drop her as well, but she said she had to meet the woman before leaving. Arjun nodded and asked Aadhyant, "Let's go; we have to leave." Aadhyant said, "We can wait for her husband to arrive." Arjun looked at Aadhyant, clearly understanding the reason for his staying. Aadhyant continued, "And we can drop you too." Hearing his idea, Vihanna agreed.
Suddenly, Aadhyant remembered something and asked Vihanna, "Give me your phone." Vihanna was shocked. "Huh!? My phone. Why?" "Just give it to me for a second," Aadhyant replied. Arjun was looking at Aadhyant like his best friend has gone mad. Vihanna took out her phone from the bag, unlocked it, and gave it to Aadhyant. Aadhyant typed his personal phone number and saved it in her phone as "AADHYANT" and gave her phone back. Vihanna looked at the screen, puzzled, unable to understand.
She asked, "Who is Aadhyant and why have you saved his number in my phone?"
Hearing her words, Arjun couldn't control his laughter and burst out laughing. Aadhyant was shocked at her question and thought to himself, "This girl is literally wreaking havoc in my life and mind, and she doesn't even know my name."
He stared at his best friend for laughing at his situation. Arjun controlled his laugh and informed them, "I am waiting in the car," then turned on his heel and left. Vihanna couldn't understand why he was laughing, and in a questioning look, she moved her eyes back to Aadhyant, asking him.
Aadhyant huffed out a breath and said, "I am Aadhyant... Aadhyant Raghuvanshi, and this is my personal phone number. If next time you need anything or are in any problem, you can directly call me." Hearing his words, Vihanna was embarrassed as hell. Her face turned red from embarrassment. "I am sorry; I didn't know. Actually, no one called you by name; everyone calls you Kunwar Sa only, so I thought..." He cut her off, "So you thought my name was Kunwar Sa." "No, Kunwar Sa is such a lame name; who would keep their child..." She halted as she realized what she was saying. Aadhyant's eyebrows rose at her statement. She was in Adhyaynagar, and Kunwar Sa is a respected title here. She panicked again, "I am sorry; I didn't mean that." He couldn't control the smile forming on his lips. It was fun teasing her. She looked adorable. If it were up to him, he would stand there and watch her all night. As she saw him smiling, she huffed out in relief. Their eye contact broke as the husband of the admitted woman arrived at the hospital. Vihanna showed him his wife's room, and Aadhyant informed Vihanna that he was waiting for her outside. She went to meet the lady.
