As they wrapped up the second day, chaos ensued with the sudden turn of weather. Dark clouds loomed overhead, casting a shadow over the sky. The air grew heavy with the promise of impending rain, a few scattered drops already beginning to sprinkle down. In a flurry of activity, they hastened to dismantle the setup, racing against the impending storm.
With the sky darkening rapidly, they hurriedly gathered their belongings and sought refuge in their respective rooms for the night. Left with no other option, Vihanna reluctantly resigned herself to the fact that she would have to share a room with Aadhyant.
As they stepped into the room, they were met with the sight of its compact size, dominated by a single small bed. Their eyes met briefly before shifting towards the bed, a silent acknowledgment passing between them.
Aware of Vihanna's lingering discomfort with the idea of sharing a bed, Aadhyant spoke up, his voice gentle yet resolute. "You take the bed. I can sleep in the car," he offered.
Concern flickered in Vihanna's eyes as she glanced out the window at the ominous clouds looming overhead. The weather had taken a turn for the worse, and the prospect of Aadhyant spending the night in the car during such conditions was not one she could bear.
"No, it's not safe," she responded firmly, her tone leaving no room for argument. "We'll manage here together."
Aadhyant hesitated, his concern evident as he questioned, "Are you sure? Will you be comfortable?"
She nodded in agreement, and they both settled onto the small bed, each trying to maintain some semblance of distance. However, the limited space made it inevitable that their arms brushed against each other. Outside, the rain began to pour, its steady rhythm echoing through the room.
Exhausted from the day's work, Vihanna turned onto her side, facing away from Aadhyant. With a sleepy murmur, she expressed her gratitude, "Thank you for today. You really helped us."
Aadhyant responded softly, his voice carrying a sense of duty and admiration, "It's my duty to serve these people, but what you're doing is truly selfless."
As fatigue washed over her, Vihanna yawned, struggling to keep her eyes open. "I think it's (yawn) also my..." Her words trailed off as she drifted into sleep, the gentle patter of rain lulling her into a peaceful slumber.
However, the tranquility was interrupted by sudden flashes of lightning and booming thunder. Startled awake, Vihanna jolted upright, her heart racing from the intensity of the storm raging outside.
Unable to resist the urge to comfort her, he gently placed his hand on her waist and pulled her closer to him. Her body tensed momentarily at his touch, but as she turned slightly towards him, she noticed his eyes were closed, his lips softly grazing her right shoulder. In a muffled voice, he spoke, "If you're comfortable, just sleep, Anna. Don't overthink."
The sound of her nickname caught her off guard, sending a flutter through her heart. Despite the intimacy of their position, she found herself craving his warmth, a sense of solace in the midst of the storm raging outside. Surrendering to the moment, she allowed herself to melt into his embrace, no longer resisting the comfort he offered.
In the gentle embrace of the sun , Vihanna felt sensations of something ticklish on her neck . Slowly, she opened her eyes to find Aadhyant's face nestled in the crook of her neck, his gentle breath sending shivers down her spine. His lips hovered tantalizingly close to her skin as he lay on his stomach, his hand resting on her stomach where her T-shirt had ridden up slightly.
Mesmerized, Vihanna found herself captivated by the sight of his long, beautiful eyelashes brushing against his skin. It was the first time she had been so close to him, close enough to notice the small mole beneath his right eye.
In the tranquility of sleep, Aadhyant's hand began to move, inching beneath the fabric of her T-shirt, causing her breath to catch in her throat. His touch sent waves of sensation coursing through her, leaving her panting with anticipation. As his hand slid upward, Vihanna's heart raced, her anticipation mounting with each movement until he paused at the hem of her bra.
Her breath hitched as she realized the depth of her desire for his touch. Despite the rush of emotions swirling within her, she found herself unwilling to halt the progression of his hand, yearning for the intimacy they shared in that fleeting moment.
After minutes of basking in the morning sun's gentle embrace, Aadhyant gradually stirred from his slumber, his eyes fluttering open to greet the new day. He shifted slightly, his awareness settling on their intertwined forms, cocooned in the warmth of their shared embrace.
With a tender gaze, he traced the contours of her face, the soft light casting delicate shadows across her features. Beneath the fabric of her t-shirt, he traced random patterns with his fingertips, a silent caress that spoke volumes of affection. Her eyes remained closed. Drawing nearer, he leaned in, his lips brushing against her ear as he whispered softly, "I know you're awake."
A faint smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he pressed a tender kiss to her lips before slipping out of the room, leaving behind a lingering warmth.
As he departed, she slowly fluttered her eyelids open, the blush creeping into her cheeks as she replayed the moment in her mind, feeling the remnants of his presence lingering in the air.
Everyone was gathered on the ground for the final day of the workshop. Vihanna was in the midst of asking Arjun, "Arjun, could you please distribute these among the children..." Her sentence trailed off abruptly as she noticed Aadhyant making his way toward her. Aadhyant began, "Vihanna, these are not..." but before he could finish, she turned on her heels and walked away from him.
Arjun observed the scene with curiosity and questioned, "What was that all about?" Aadhyant, taken aback by Vihanna's sudden behavior, shrugged his shoulders and replied, "I have no idea." Arjun, with a hint of mockery, quipped, "Bhai ab kya raita phaila diya tune, ab to sudhar jaa, biwi hai teri"
Aadhyant rolled his eyes at his friend's jest and made his way toward his wife. Meanwhile, Vihanna struggled to find a response to the morning's incident, opting to ignore it for the time being. However, her persistent husband had been trailing her since morning, leaving her at a loss for how to react.
