When I open my eyes, I'm met with my familiar baby pink wallpaper

I adjust my eyes and ultimately decide that I need to get out of bed before half of my day is wasted.

As I make my way downstairs, I pass the room Leonardo's staying in and surprisingly hear him yelling

"Are you fucking stupid? Do I have to do everything myself?" he yells, and thinking nothing of it I just decide to just keep walking down the stairs

Noticing my parents already left for work I start cooking some pancakes to cure my hunger

As I'm putting batter on the stove I feel a presence behind me, I turn around and there he is looking absolutely stunning for it being 9 in the morning

"Good morning, Leonardo" I say as he smiles, flashing his perfect teeth "Please call me Leo, Bellissima and good morning to you too"

"I'm making pancakes if you want some, we have a lot of fruit and some cream in the refrigerator if you'd like toppings" Some strawberries and cream do sound good to go with my pancakes

I brush past him so I'm able to get the fruit and a knife so im able to chop some berries up, he smells strongly of green apple and pinewood

As i flip the last pancake he suddenly clears his throat "There's a annual gala that my company is hosting in two days, would you like to go? Your parents agreed it could be good for you, but I can also talk to your parents about going as well" he says and I turn my head to him facinated

I'd never been to a gala before, it's been forever since I played a little dress up

"I'd love to go! I think my parents are leaving for a short business trip tonight, but I'll be there!" I say still smiling ear to ear, he returns the smile, "Its settled then, I'll make sure it's alright with your parents that I stay here while they are away."

He then goes on to tell me that the theme is The Great Gatsby which seems like something straight out of a movie. I make a note in my phone to go dress shopping after my shift tomorrow.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" I say while walking to the couch

"As long as you don't make me watch sappy rom coms that sounds good to me" he expresses with a slight chuckle and flashes me that pearly smile

We're sitting on opposite sides of the couch, and he has the popcorn, so naturally I decide to scoot closer

"Do you mind?" I ask before scooting closer to him "Absolutely not" he says as he extends his  hand to offer me popcorn

I happily accept and eat some popcorn while I scroll to look for a movie.

Not finding much I decide to make small talk "So tell me about yourself Leo"

He chuckled lightly "There's not much to tell honestly, I'm 29, my family is still in Italy running their business, I have a dog named Tabasco and I'm hoping to expand my business to countries rather than just cities"

Wow and here I thought he was 31

Glad I didn't say that out loud

"Were you also born in Italy?" I ask curiously

"I was, I haven't been there in forever because I've been in Chicago starting my new life and expanding my business." He has a slight look of guilt that doesn't go unnoticed "It is beautiful there though; I miss being there and being with my family."

"What does your family do for business?" I can't help but be confused at the look he gives me "Just regular business, they have it there in Italy and I take care of some things here in the states" he says subtly smirking
