"Looks like someone got my sloppy seconds" I hear someone snicker behind me

If i had a dollar every time an ignorant asshole tried to insult me i'd be a millionaire by now

I see Leo's ears perk up after hearing that statement, finally acknowledging how close him and Jay suddenly are

I see him tell Jay something only them two could hear, I inch in trying to hear but anyone around could notice the color drain out of Jays face

"Let's go boys" He says and walks out of the diner door "Nice seeing you Anastasia, it won't be the last"

"Choke on my dick Jay!" we all turn our heads to Aubrey who has a look of satisfaction on her face

She's going to get fired one day because of this

"I'm so sorry about that Leo, crazy ex boyfriend and that's Aubrey" he nods her head at her "It's nice to meet you Aubrey, Anastasia I must get going but keep an eye out for my message"

We exchange goodbyes and as soon as he's out of the door Aubrey makes it very known that she wants to know how the sex is whenever it happens

The rest of our shift goes by as normal, during the morning shifts we don't get an abundance of customer's

When I first moved to New York Aubrey was my first and only friend, being only 8 means we grew up together in a sense and i'm grateful she stuck around after everything

Due to my parents successful careers I don't need to work but Aubrey didn't want to be lonely at the diner so I applied as well

"Okay clocked out and ready to go?" I feel excited to be able to get dolled up for a flashy event but I still have yet to receive a message from Leo

"Okay I put the address in let's roll out this bitch!" I laugh

20 minutes later we arrive at the boutique and when it said elegance in the name it meant it, this has to be one of the fanciest boutiques i've been to in years

"He wasn't lying when he said a beautiful girl would be in here" A gorgeous woman comes up to us cheerily

Oh lord now Aubreys delusions are going to run wild

"Are you Lana?" I reply with a smile "In the flesh"

"So tell me what you're looking for as far as colors and we can go from there"

This is what gets me, I love certain colors but they don't look as good on me as other colors do
