In the journey of our lives, we all act without fully understanding the consequences. Yet, once a word is spoken or an action taken, it cannot be undone. Our deeds, whether good or bad, shadow us through time.
Picture this: between the realms of heaven and hell lies a unique courthouse, newly established. Its purpose To give as many souls as possible a chance at heaven. The judge presiding over it holds a simple belief: that most people don't knowingly do wrong.
Here's how it works: every person who completes their earthly journey has a bar representing their deeds. If someone needs more good karma to enter heaven, they can draw from those who have an excess. It's a system designed to balance the scales and offer redemption to those who seek it.
Padma had finished her time on earth and now stood in the divine judgment court. The surroundings were heavenly; everything she saw was crafted from white marble, resembling fluffy clouds. In the center, a serene mini lake sparkled, adorned with a delicate peach-white lotus. Stairs flanked both sides of the lake, each step revealing the soul's most beautiful memories from their earthly life as they ascended.
A baby angel approached Padma, saying, "Hey, new here? I can sense your pure soul! Heaven's happy to have you! Let me show you around." The angel's energy was contagious, and there was a calming tone to his voice.
As they walked, the angel explained the afterlife form-filling process briefly to Padma. When they reached the main court, Padma saw souls trading their karma to enter heaven.
The angel clarified, "Here, we operate on a trading system for karma. Good karma earns you points, bad karma deducts them. After the calculation, higher powers decide if you'll go to heaven, hell, or maybe get reborn."
Pointing to a chart, the angel continued, "Look here, if your total calculation is between 0% to 10%, it's hell. Between 11% to 60%, rebirth. But score 60% and above, and bingo, it's heaven for you!"
Motioning towards the rebirth section, the angel added, "In the rebirth section, you don't choose your family; it's karma-based. But hey, if you're bored with your gender, you can switch it in the next life or customize it. Although, with your strong karma and pure soul, heaven's a sure thing for you!"
"Ring-ring," the angel got a call from his boss, "Hey! Yeah, I know, just got held up guiding a new soul. I'm on my way, hold on."
"Okay, lady, you're on your own now. Don't give away too much of your karma, or you'll end up needing rebirth again. Then it's the daily grind of being a kid, making kids, watching kids... I don't know why some people like that," the angel said to Padma while rolling his eyes before leaving.
After the angel disappeared, Padma began to explore her surroundings. As she ventured further, she heard a painful scream, "Please! Isn't there anyone, anyone at all, who can donate me just a little bit?"
Padma followed the voice, finding a woman in distress. "What happened?" she asked.
The woman, crying blood from her eyes, explained her situation to Padma amidst her stress. "My beloved son passed away. He was everything to me. Unable to bear the pain, I took my own life. And now they're saying I must take rebirth without my son. He's in heaven waiting for me! What's a helpless mother supposed to do now?! You're a woman! You must understand the pain I'm carrying! Please, just give me some points so I can reunite with my beloved son! I'm begging you!"
With more than 100% karma, Padma agreed without hesitation. But before she could donate her points, Padma saw Rajni's life deeds - a part of the karma trading process where the donor can see all the receiver's karma.
