New Beginnings~ Fatima

Fatima left the house and went to the police station to file a restraining order against Ian! She then went to the "Philly Gun Range"! She was 15 minutes early so she said in the parking lot and prayed! Once she finished her prayer she started singing, "God don't give up on me yet! I know I'm your best bet, but I'm trying so don't give up on me yet"!

While singing she noticed she had a notification that a Law firm in Atlanta had pulled her resume from Indeed! She was completely skeptical because it's been a minute since she practiced law besides solving cases while watching "NCIS: New Orleans" and "Criminal Minds" ! She graduated a couple months ago but stopped working because Ian said, "I don't want my wife punching NOBODIES CLOCK"!

INCOMING CALL UNKNOWN

Andi: Hello My name is Andrea Barnes, May I speak to Fatima Wilson Please?

Fatima: Hello Ms. Barnes, This is Fatima! How may I help you?

Andi: Fatima, How are you doing today?

Fatima: I'm fine Ms. Barnes! How are you?

Andi: I'm great Fatima, you can call me Andi! I pulled your Resume from Indeed! I have been looking for new and experienced lawyers and I found you to be the best candidate!

Fatima: Andi, I am truly honored but I haven't practiced Law in months, I haven't taken my BAR exam and I'm located in Philadelphia!

Andi: Fatima I totally understand but that doesn't sway my decision! I have spoken to your previous employer and she sang your praises! I have emailed you the offer letter for you to review and sign if you decide to take the job! The sign on bonus is $5,000.00! We provide transportation to and from work through our driving service and I will accommodate your hotel room and plane ticket! I would love for you to start in 2 days! No pressure though the decision is all yours!

Fatima: Andi, thank you for the offer can I have time to think it over and I'll give you a snare before the end of the business day!

Andi: Thanks fine Fatima, it was a pleasure talking to you! I'll be in contact and I hope to see you soon!

Fatima: Thank you Andi! * The Call Disconnects*

Fatima threw her head back and Lori and Angela tapped on the window! Fatima opened the door and got out!

Lori: Oh NO Tima you been crying!

Angela: Girl are you okay?

Fatima: It's fine we will discuss it when we go in!

The girls shot off a couple rounds and then Fatima began to tell them about what happened with Ian!

Angela: Damn girl I'm sorry you had to go through that!

Lori: When I see that nigga I'm putting his ASS 10 ft UNDER!

Angela: *Laughing* Lori they bury people 8 ft under!

Lori: I'll be so mad, I'll stomp his ass down 2 more ft!

Fatima: Lor NO it's fine I'll be okay but I do have something else to tell you!

Angela: What is it?

Lori: Girl please tell me that NIGGA didn't get you pregnant!

Fatima: NO but I have been offered a job as a lawyer in Atlanta!

Angela and Lori: CONGRATULATIONS!

Fatima: Y'all are mad I'm leaving?

Angela: Actually I have some news of my own! I have been offer a management position at a consulting firm in Atlanta and I took it!

Fatima: Congratulations Ang! And you Lor?

Lori: Well you know most of my clients are in Atlanta anyways the ones I have here are willing to travel to get their hair done so I've already bought a suite! I was to surprise y'all over dinner but ig we all have a surprise for each other!

Fatima texted Andi and told her she accepted the job and then signed her offer letter!

The girls booked rooms at best western and booked their flights! Angela and Lori help Fatima pack her things and All three woman got a realtor to help them rent their houses out! (Fatima's house was in her name NOT Ian's)! Fatima also found a company to deliver their cars to Atlanta! They went to the airport and boarded their flights!
