ERIN PLEASE STAY WITH ME!! PLEASE DONT DIE!! I LOVE YOU!! GUY'S I CANT LOSE HER! SHE IS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!! WHERE IS THAT DAMN AMBULANCE?! Jay the ambulance is here, it's Gabby and Shay. Voight said GABBY, SHAY GET IN HERE QUICK! PLEASE I NEED YOU TO SAVE HER!!
<<GABBY'S POV>>
2 gun shot wounds to the chest, I got a pulse but it's weak and getting weaker. Shay we have to tube her now or we could lose her! Hand me that tube, got it shay bag her. Got the bag on. Shay said. Get her in the ambo know!! I told Jay that he could ride with me in the back. How fast can you get us there shay? 5 minutes shay said, you are going have to make it faster than that I don't think she has 5 minutes, I said. 2 minutes into the drive, Erin was doing okay. Then all of the sudden something happened. SHE'S CRASHING SHAY!! SHAY CALL IT IN!! I DID THEY ARE THERE WAITING, SHAY SAID. HOW MUCH LONGER SHAY?! 1 MINUTE!! SHAY SAID!
2 gun shot wounds to the chest, she had a pulse when we got to her, but it was weak, so we tubed her, she started crashing on the drive here. Thanks dawson, one of the doctors say.
I turn around to see Jay standing behind me crying. I walked over and told him that everything was going to be okay, and that she had the best doctors in Chicago.
<<JAY'S POV>>
When I got into the waiting room, I knew that they wouldn't have any news yet because she was probably in surgery. I sat in the corner and put my face in my and just started to cry again. I didn't care who saw me cry, I only cared about the love of my life and prayed that she is okay. The rest of the team walked into the hospital, along with Burgess and Roman. They all came and sat by me and we just sat in silence for hours and waited for any news from the doctors.
** 3 HOURS LATER**
<< JAYS POV>>
I was staring out the window, trying not to think about what happened. Then I hear one of the doctors say, Family of Erin Lindsay?? we all stand up. I walk up to him and tell him that I am her fiancé. How is she? She had 2 bullets in her chest, one was in her shoulder, but the second one was inches from hitting her heart. With the angle that she was shot at, the bullet went through a lot of tissue and the last layer of tissue finally stopped the bullet before it could reach her hear. Right now she is a medically induced coma, to help her body repair from the damage. When can I see her? you can see her right now, but 1 at a time. I turned around to look at everyone and they all said at once, Go.
I ran down the hall till I found her room, when I walked in, I looked at her and I started to cry again. I sat down right next to her bed and held her hands and just started talking. Why couldn't it have been me?! I would do anything to be in your place right now, have me be the one who got shot not you. I should have tried harder and made you wait for the rest of the team, even though I know you wouldn't have listened to me, but even when we were in the house I should of had your back the whole time, we should of never split up. Baby I need you to be okay, I need you to live. I can't wait to live the rest of my life with you and to start a family with you, I love you. I have always loved you.
**6 HOURS LATER**

Everyone in the unit had come in and talked to Erin. When Voight went in, he didn't really say much. He just sat down and looked at her, it looked like he was going to start crying and I don't blame him. I have been crying all day and she is basically her daughter, he raised her when Bunny wouldn't. He was her role model and he changed her from her ways growing up, into a smart, caring, heart filled human being. The rest of the unit left, Voight was the last to leave and he told me to call him with any news.
I was there all day and I didn't plan on leaving anytime soon. I went back to the chair right next to her bed, I moved the chair closer so that I could hold her hand but yet I could still rest my head. The second I laid my head down, Erin gripped onto my hand and she started to stir. I shot up and said Erin are you there?? What happened to me?? and why am I in so much pain?? Erin said. BABY you're awake!! We were going to look for mark Jones and we went into the house before the rest of team and you didn't put your vest on and he shot you, but then Voight shot him, he's dead.
<< ERIN'S POV>>
I woke up in a hospital bed, in a shit load of pain and jay was next to me. Once I finally say his face it looked like he had been crying for a while. He stated to tell me what happened, and now I remember him trying to make me wait and to put my vest on, but I didn't listen to him and now I wish that I did. Jay told my that I almost died and I just looked at him and said come here, please come kiss me. I love you baby and I will never leave you. I love you too baby and I will never leave you, he said. Jay said that he had been talking to the doctor and since its 2am and the doctor is not here, he said he will talk to you in the morning, and if you need anything I am not leaving your side until you get out of here. Jay I love you and these hospital beds are really uncomfortable, will you come lay with me?? Of course I will, he said. When he got in the bed, he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close. We made out a little, before we both fell asleep.
