After fighting the Wind Cursed Spirit, you were eager to return to Tokyo, but your heart condition stopped you.

You cough out blood, and your heart is in pain. "I used too much reverse cursed technique today. It must have pushed my heart's limit for today..."

"Old Man, are you alright?" Mai asked as she put her hand on your shoulder.

"I'm fine, Mai. I need to get back to Jujutsu High; I have a feeling Geto's right where Yuta and Maki are," You said as you tried to get up.

"Gojo's on his way to the school, so just rest up. We're taking you to Shoko," Nanami said as he kneeled at me.

"My wife is gonna kill me before I'm gonna die...." You thought as you mentally and physically got prepared and yelled at by Shoko.

"How long has it been like this?" Shoko asked as I was in our bed. She used her reverse cursed technique to heal my wounds from the battle.

"It started happening last year; whenever I used the reverse curved technique or positive energy, the heart and my body take the toll but not the brain," I said, unable to look her in the eye.

"Because, in your case, Riko's heart is the main source of Positive energy converted from your body, and those who can use RCT, like Gojo and I, use our brain to convert cursed energy to positive energy," Shoko said.

"I could never use RCT because of the difference in my cursed energy reserve before the heart transplant. You and Gojo have much more reserves than I do." I said.

"Tell me, How long do you have?" Shoko asks as she sits beside me, holding my hand.

"One and a half years tops. Amanai's heart bought me time to live for 12 years, but this cannot be cured or treated medically or with Jujutsu. It is the curse of the family, and I worry our baby girl will suffer the same fate of dying young. That's why I couldn't tell you or burden you with my curse," I said to Shoko.

"I don't plan to lose you both. You are my husband, and Riko is our daughter, and as a doctor, it's my job to cure and save you both," Shoko said with a serious face.

"No, save our daughter. I want her to live more than I will do," you said and looked at Shoko.

"No, we're all gonna make it through this. No one is dying again under my watch," Shoko said as she leaned against your forehead with yours.

"I can never win an argument against you, haha," you chuckled.

"You may be fine with dying, but I'm not, okay?" she said as she was about to cry. It was almost a decade since you saw Shoko cry again. She was always a stoic person, keeping her emotions to herself and smoking if she went through something.

"I'm sorry, Honey... I never considered how you or others would feel if I was fine with dying," you said as you hugged her.

"I've lost friends, our best friend, and I'm not planning to lose my husband and daughter as well," she said.

"Sorry," you kissed her forehead to assure her. You were always thinking of dying but not hoping to live.

You and Shoko kept it secret, along with Gojo and Yuta, about your undeniable death shortly in the future.

Of course, Gojo wasn't happy about it, and he had just lost his best friend; hearing that his other best friend was on a death timer, he devised a huge gamble.

"Nah, you are not gonna die. I believe it concerns something from the Hein Era you forgot," Gojo said as the 3 of you were in the living room of your house.

"You mean something to do with Ryomen Sukuna? My Ancestors defeated him and sealed him," You said.

"Yeah, but you overlooked something. Sukuna might have cursed your family when they made a binding vow; he's the king of curses. Your ancestors sacrificed their descendants' lifespans to seal and defeat Sukuna, but what if you unseal one of his fingers?" Gojo suggested.

"What are you crazy? You want to bring the King of Curses back to life so I can live?" you asked with a shocked and angered face.

"You might not have noticed when you accidentally found a finger of Sukuna's back when you defeated your father. You extended your lifespan, though Riko's heart just saved you unnaturally when you were supposed to die on that day, but this is just a theory," Gojo said.

"You might be right. I didn't have any side effects for ten years, and suddenly, I'm having symptoms of a failing body." You said.

"Because four years ago, I recovered a finger of Sukuna's finger. We need to find more of it, though Jujutsu High has around 8 Fingers, including the ones we've found. There are a total of 20 fingers," Gojo said.

"I have a bad feeling about the King of Curses coming back," You said.

"If he does come back, I'll defeat him," Gojo smirked.

"Not risking the world so that I can live a long life, Gojo," You said.

"Hey, I already lost a friend. I'm not losing another," Gojo said with a small smile.

"And you have a family, too. You don't want to break their hearts, right?" Shoko asked as she held your hand.

You sighed and thought about it for a while, "We're doing this, but Gojo promise we can Defeat the King of Curses," 

"We'd Win together. You're the second strongest sorcerer after me," Gojo said as he patted your shoulder.

"Isn't Yuta stronger than me?" you asked.

"Nah, you're just more experienced than he is in Jujutsu, so he might catch up if you slack off," Gojo said.

"Great, risking the world's fate so that I can live..." you said as you crossed your arms.

"It's gonna be worth it, though Sukuna needs a host to fully manifest," Gojo said as he grins.

Months Later...

Sendai.....

You were on the roof, arrived right on time to save Megumi Fushigoro from the Curses and encountered a familiar but overwhelming aura from a pink hair boy.

"So you've found a way to live longer than you were meant to right? (Y/n)?" asked the Pink hair boy whose voice changes into a older and mature voice.

"Fuck...where is Gojo..." you thought as Ryomen Sukuna awakens in the body of Yuji Itadori.

"You should be dead already, but you impress me, (Y/n)" Sukuna said with a grin.

"It's worth the risk I guess, after all I want to live a long life," you said as you get into a fighting stance against Sukuna.
