"Excuse me, you what?!"

Jungwon's incredulous expression stares at him from his laptop screen and he tries not to laugh at how shocked he looks, his features contorted in pure surprise.

"Me and Sunoo", Sunghoon repeats after he manages to school his expression "are dating now, for a few days, actually"

"No", Jungwon says and then just furrows his brows, accompanied with a pout.

"What do you mean, no?" Sunghoon asks with a quirked brow.

"I've been putting Sunoo away from you for months now", Jungwon explains in a still dazed and shocked expression, "he was always on and on about how he wanted to be yours and stuff like that! I was always putting him off and this is how you betray me?"

Sunghoon laughs openly now, his heart warm knowing Sunoo liked him for so long, "betray you?"

"Hoon-ah!" Jungwon huffs through the screen, "He doesn't do serious relationships... are you sure you guys are like dating dating?"

"We're dating dating" Sunghoon nods, even though there's still a small portion of insecurity in his heart, knowing he's the only one who's Sunoo's making an exception for "he's my boyfriend."

Jungwon's expression finally softens. He must sense the seriousness of the conversation, how Sunghoon is putting himself out there. How important this is. Jungwon knows him well.

"For real?" he repeats gently now, just to be sure, because Jungwon is always protective of Sunghoon. Has always been and will always be.

Sunghoon nods with a small smile "Yeah... this is for real"

"Okay...", Jungwon finally says, "If Sun says that it's for real then I trust him... he's usually pretty honest with those things"

"Yeah" Sunghoon mutters, more to himself than to Jungwon, because he loves how candidly he's been talking to Sunoo, how honest they try to be with each other "I trust him too".

"I can see you do Hoon", Jungwon smiles now, finally coming down from the surprise, "and I'm happy for you... You could have told me about it... I honestly thought you wouldn't like... fall for my best friend"

"I'm your best friend" Sunghoon replies curtly, making Jungwon roll his eyes.

"Yes, whatever", Jungwon replies nonchalantly, "how did this happen?"

"I don't know...", Sunghoon says, feeling some discomfort rise at the prospect of being so vulnerable, talking about this with other people.

"You always tell me so many details", Jungwon rolls his eyes again, "That's why Sunoo is also my best friend... I bet he'll tell me everything anyway"

Sunghoon feels so exposed, knowing Jungwon, and probably other friends, will find out so much about his private thoughts and feelings. He starts to get a bit uncomfortable at the thought but pushes it away for now.

"Yeah", he replies instead "he'll tell you eventually I bet"

Jungwon's nodding when Sunghoon sees Sunoo appearing behind the screen, right by the doorframe. His blue dye is starting to fade again and it's more like a teal colour now, spiking in wet strands of hair as he's still drying it with a towel. Sunghoon can't help a lopsided smile from spreading on his lips.

"Hey" Jungwon calls "I'm still here! What are you looking at with such a dumb expression?"

Sunghoon immediately scolds his expression back to a neutral one, Sunoo laughs as he approaches from the side.
