Multraversal Adventures 4: Darkness' Rise

Chapter 7: A Hero's Return

Garonix: "Exactly! Luckily, I got here just in time for Nathan's demise. Took that fool, Adam long enough."

Xoros: "What? What do you mean by that?!"

Garonix: "Ah, you do not know. Well, Adam was one in a long line of servants I had. I had him build a machine that would teleport me to him, but I suppose it failed, considering the fact the the device he said he would build activated instead. I do wish he would've added more exact coordinates, because I had to travel across the Omniverse. Although, I must say, some of the beings I saw had better suits and things of the like. You should've seen it, there was this one guy I saw with a strange, technologically advanced-looking suit, but he had some kind of TV for a head. Now that I think on it, that multiverse was quite odd, but that's besides the point."

Xoros: "So Adam was under your control this whole time?!"

Garonix: "Yes. As I said, though, he failed me."

Relka: "And Alkor worked for you too. He was trying to get Nathan imprisoned, that way when you got here, you could go kill him yourself."

Garonix: "Yes, but just like Adam, he failed me."

Relka: "And just like him, YOU'LL PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID!"

Garonix: "HAH, you think you're powerful enough to beat ME?!"

Xoros: "Well, we can at least try!"

Xoros, Globob, and Relka then began attacking Garonix, but they couldn't land any hits, as he deflected them all. Eventually, after fighting for a while, Garonix managed to pin them all down.

Garonix: "Hmm, pitiful, just like all the others."

Xoros: "We'll stop you, one way or another!"

Garonix: "Hmm, well, your current predicament seems to deny that. Still, you could've at least TRIED to stop me! Well, no matter. Say hello to the hero for me."

Garonix then began forming giant spikes made of darkness, and he pointed them towards the trio. Just as he hurled them, however, something deflected them. A scythe.

Nathan: "Or you could tell him yourself!"

Xoros: "What?"

Globob: "NATHAN!"

Garonix: "Hmm, so you can defy death as well. Interesting."

Xoros: "Is it really you, Nathan?!"

Nathan: "Yep, the one and only!"

Garonix: "Heh, not exactly."

Nathan and Garonix then began fighting, the scythe managing to deflect all of the projectiles Garonix hurled at Nathan.

Garonix: "You can't just run around forever, hero."

Nathan: "Oh, I know, that's why I'm doing THIS!"

Nathan then jumped to the ceiling then bounced towards Garonix, knocking him down.

Nathan: "Boom!"

Garonix: "Ugh. Hmm, well, I must admit, hero, you actually gave me a challenge, and, technically, defeated me."

Nathan: "Yeah, so stay down."

Garonix: "Hm, I don't think I will. Although, it would be fun, I will not continue this, as I have other things to do."

Garonix then disappeared into a cloud of darkness.
