FANTASIA

Waking up alone in the house I won in the nasty divorce I had with my then wife, gives me chills. This house was bought for us to live happily ever after and to pass it on to our kids. I would've never seen myself in this position.

It's the first day back to school after the summer break, my students are the only reason I get up everyday and go into work. I don't need to work because I have enough money to sustain me for the rest of my life.

The first thing I normally when do I when I wake up is to scroll on social media, but when I checked the time I was running late.

"Oh fuck! It's 6:30" I quickly got up out of bed and ran to the bathroom. I always wake up at 5 am, but for some reason my body needed more sleep.

Walking out of my home, heels clicking and clacking on my marbled floors. I'm ready for the day to begin, most importantly I'm ready to see my children.

As I entered my black BMW I carefully stretched and sat my hand held items in the back seats, the passenger seat is always reserved for my student Amari.

Amari's house is only 5 minutes away from me so I was there in no time.

*honkkkk*

I honked my horn, seconds after the door was swung open.

"Miss B, if you don't stop beeping yo horn my momma sleeping." She said rolling her eyes

"And if you don't stop rolling your eyes, imma drive the fuck off"

"Damn." She chuckled pulling me into a hug as soon as she got into the vehicle

"ITS TIME TO TURN THE FUCK UP!!!" She exclaimed as I pulled out of the hug, now turning on the ignition.

"Amari."

"Okay okay, sorry. it's senior year tho, imma be leaving you" she said fake crying

"Okay no you won't, you walk to my house every chance you get Mar" I rolled my eyes followed by a chuckle

"Yes, because you be in that big ass house alone!"

"Do you got a problem with that?"

"No but I do got a problem with that woman you divorced" of course she knew about my ex wife, I tell her everything. She's like my niece.

We continued talking all the way to school. When we reached, she helped me carry some of my bags and we headed into the institution.

"Go sign in miss B" she always reminds me to clock in because truthfully I be forgetting.

"Thanks lil mama" I said appreciating her

After I had finished signing in we walked to my classroom to continue our girl talk.

Taking a seat in my chair I asked "Amari, how's the relationship?"

She sighed. I instantly frowned

"What's wrong mar?" I tilted my head and lifted her chin with my finger so that she can look at me when she's talking

"Well, he's just different. I see a lot of red flags but I don't want to let go of him."

" Amari I've been telling you this. No matter how much love you say you have for that boy. Don't paint the red flags green. That's what I did with Nicole and look where it got me! Living all alone in a big ass mansion at 36." I hate seeing her hurting, she needs to know there are more men out  there for her

"I might just take a dip in the lady pond at this point miss B" she said winking at me

"Might be the best decision of your life" I laughed

The bell rang dismissing the silence, indicating it was time for school to begin.

"Gone to your history class" I have her schedule practically memorized

"Alright bye pookie!!!" She picked up her belongings.

"Bye bye lil mamas" I said blowing a kiss for her to catch and put in her pocket.

She left.

It's time to get to work.
